Gyro and pasta

Cute little place with authentic Greek food. Nice to switch it for a change but rather good service and experience. Really enjoyed my gyro as well as watermelon mark was very refreshing

This is one of the many places to choose from on the main road in El Nido. It is a little pricey compared to the rest of the Philippines but that should be expected since it is in a touristy area. The place is located down a side road right off the main road. The restaurant is pretty open so you get a nice breeze throughout. The service was not so great here. It took a while to take orders and get our food. The food itself was alright. Nothing really stood out to me or any of the others in my group. The portions were also rather small for what you were paying. However, if you are really in the mood for meditaranean food this is probably the only place in the area to hold you over.

When we were in El Nido for three nights we were here all three nights. Our kids they wanted more traditional American food right downstairs was a pizza burger place and they brought it up to our table. The restaurant didn't mind that we brought outside food. Drinks buy one get one for happy hour and watch the beautiful sunset over the bay. Be careful for those watermelon Long Island Iced Teas they're dangerous

We were waking through El Nido 02/05/18 on our last night trying to decide where to eat and we came upon Cafe Athena so we decided to check it out. It's a nice Greek restaurant located in El Nido right on the water. The night we went there the windows were open and there was nice breeze blowing in from the bay, unfortunately a little to nice of a breeze because our island hopping tour was cancelled (BUMMER) The wait staff was very friendly and helpful as we perused the menu. The food was ok, but really wasn't anything special that would make me want to go back for

Enjoyable puns colada ! Lots of chunks of coconut and pineapple and strong alcohol content.

Great ambiance with beach view, strong hh drinks, and delicious juices. Staff has great customer service. Food is extremely mid. Poor portion sizes and hardly any meat/protein. We ordered the lamb pita and had to send it back it was all lettuce and cucumbers, no lamb. The skewers were solid, but only 3 chunks of chicken per skewer. The chopped salad was also pretty decent.

Calamansi margarita and mai tai

This place has the best view that any restaurant can have in El Nido, that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. The drinks and food was good too. I had the calamansi margarita (on happy hour- buy get 1 free from 2-10pm) and it was great! Their food is tasty although a little different from the Greek food in Greece (but of course!). I had the chicken souvlaki which came with a really good homemade sauce and good veggies. Even though it was chicken breast, it wasn't dry and had a lot of flavor in it. My husband had chicken gyro and it was tasty as well although didn't taste like your usual gyro. The view is the killer and I just wanted to sit here the whole day and admire it.:)

Vegetarian souvlaki (on the left), shrimp plate with potatoes and sautéed onions (center), and Mediterranean veggie sandwich.

The food was good, a bit pricey for Philippines; however, that's expected in a very touristy place. The view from upstairs is great! I had shrimp dish but had to clean it myself. That was a bit disappointing, since I was hungry and didn't feel like getting my hands dirty and playing with my food. Happy Hour Mango Daiquiris were great! Beware, they will serve them both at the same time though, so one will be melting away as you enjoy the other, a bit weird in my opinion... Service was great, would eat here again!

One of my favorite restaurants with a view in El Nido

Mediocre food at best, but the view is amazing. The souvlaki plate was alright, gyro was nothing special.

Yoske Restaurant was recommended to me by two Israelian girls I met while travelling in the…read morePhilippines. I ended up here twice (Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon). Only a few tables were occupied both times. Pretty dead. The menu is short with plate options, sandwiches (pita/wraps), breakfast, salad, desserts and drinks. The tershi (pumpkin salad) sounded interesting but it's only available Friday. I'm a bit surprised that they don't specialize their menu, especially given the owner is from Israel. Make sure you try the homemade spicy sauce! Super delicious. - Pita bread - this needs its own mention. Freshly made, straight from the oven. Dense yet airy. Tasted like sourdough on its own. Easily the best thing I ate. - Falafel (A3) (300 PHP) - served with pita bread, Israeli salad and tahini. This looked small but the falafels were crispy (although by themselves bland). Stuff them inside the pita bread and dip with tahini. - Shakshuka (A6) (250 PHP) - came with two eggs Tunisia style and pita bread. Good flavour and depth to the shakshuka. - Zahtar toast (180 PHP) - olive oil, zahtar, sliced tomato, onion and boiled egg. There's marinated olives that add a sour note. They use the same fresh pita bread but grill it. Good but only as a light snack. - Eggplant salad (C3) (70 PHP) - grilled eggplant Israeli style. It's a small side than an actual salad. But it did have a pleasant smoky flavour to it. Overall, stick with the Mediterranean options. 3.5 stars.
