Yeah, the line is usually crazy long, but it's 100% worth the wait. I went for the original cheesesteak and it blew past my expectations; juicy, cheesy, perfectly seasoned, the works. Despite the lack of a/c and rough conditions they were in, the staff were super friendly behind the counter. My husband and I orders some delicious subs on fresh sesame seed bread. They're super generous filling up their subs and the ingredients are fresh and top notch. As a pescatarian, my options are more limited, but my caprese sandwich was fabulous. We also ordered a cannoli which they hand fill. It was the best cannoli I have had in South Florida and tasted like the ones I used to enjoy from the North End in Boston. Finally a great cannoli! Due to the power issue, it was a little dark inside. However, this is a true, lived in authentic Italian deli. Again, if you're from up North, you will feel like you are at home here. V&S is the real deal, and very much worthy of all the rave reviews people have shared with me.

There are plenty of tables inside, as well as outdoor seating, which makes it a nice place to grab a sandwich and sit for a while. The food was good, and of course, Laspadas is known for their sandwiches. One thing I really love is how they tuck everything together when making the sandwich. It helps keep all the ingredients inside so nothing falls out when you're eating it. Honestly, I think that's such a great feature that you don't see at many other sub shops. Overall, it was nice to see the new location and enjoy one of their famous sandwiches.

I also think it's a nice touch that the wraps come with a complimentary bag of chips. Every time I've visited, the restaurant has been busy, usually with a line and most of the indoor seating taken. The line moves pretty quickly, though, so don't let it discourage you! The indoor seating area is fairly small, with room for around 20 people, but there is also outdoor seating, which is usually easier for finding a spot. They offer free water, including lemon water, which is a nice bonus. One thing to keep in mind is that it can get pretty loud inside because of all the chopping and food preparation, so expect to hear quite a bit of banging. My recommendation is to skip ordering online and just wait in line, since I've honestly found that to be the quicker option. The only bad experience I've had was with a DoorDash delivery, where 3 out of the 5 meals we ordered couldn't be made. No one from Vinny's reached out to let us know or offer substitutions, so we ended up receiving only the two meals they were able to prepare. Aside from some minor customer service issues, the food is great, the portions are generous, and I'll definitely continue going back!

I tried this place a few years ago, and didn't have a great experience, as my wrap got soggy pretty quickly, which was disappointing. They chop everything really well, and mix in what I believe is a store-bought dressing, possibly Ken's. Even getting the dressing on the side doesn't seem to help much. Each wrap comes with a bag of Ruffles chips, which is a nice touch. My group loved their lunch, so we will order from them again. Not one of my favorite places, but it's okay once in a while.

This is a principle the Outside the Box Food Truck understands. I had their Cuban Sandwich recently and I loved it. The base of their Miami Cuban is an excellently baked Ciabatta Bread . Firm, slightly chewy and flavorful. Then they add excellent quality ingredients to their base - nice tender roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese, mustard and pickles, and then make it perfect, into a sandwich press it goes to be heated to perfection. The roast pork was flavorful and tender, not dry and chewy like so many other Cubans I have had. My only comment would be more pickles, but that is just me. This was complimented by a nice pasta salad and some excellent Tabouli. I'll be back to try another of their creations. That is for certain. If you see them, get a sandwich, you will not be disappointed.

I sat for about 30 minutes and watched people order after me and get their food before me. I reminded them about my order and they said "it's almost ready." I'm watching operations behind the counter and I could see they don't have much of a system for getting orders in and out efficiently. Not bad people, just bad management. This place does well only because they're one of the few bagel shops around. If any restauratuer knows how to actually get good food out efficiently, this market and neighborhood would be a gold mine. You would do a huge sit-down, take out and even delivery business. This plaza's days are numbered since they're going to build some massively expensive hotel here. I am sure a bagel shop will not be able to pay those rents so hopefully someone new will come up with a solution. This place ain't it.
