#Schnitzel - even bigger than it looks in the photo.
    Patrick G.

Nice place, I really the interior. It's hard to describe but I would say it's classy-ish with an little bit of a sarcastic touch. The waiters are not the fastest in the world but the place seemed busy every time I was there. Very friendly service though. I likes their drinks and food. As you can see in the photo I'm about to post their schnitzel are humongous and really reasonably priced by Munich standards. Their cocktails are good which is great but I guess most places in Munich have pretty good cocktails these days. I think overall it's the mixture of interior, the diverse crowd (even praisn :) ), the food and drinks, the service and the reasonable prices which make this place worth a visit. Also it is very conveniently located, really close to sendlinger tor (ubahn station) and fairly close to glockenbach where you can always find more places to go to before or after.

    My huge snitzel.

Very large and tasty snitzel and very good pasta that was spiced perfectly!! Service was fast even though the Caffè was busy. Just remember that if you want a beverage sometimes beer is as cheap as water or coke and for my fellow Americans the water is not free and specify water with gas or not (sparkling or mineral).

Lovely wallpaper and cosy sofas make Mozart one of the warmest places in Munich.

I had the giant schnitzel which was bigger than you can imagine. I'm pretty sure I only ate 1/16th of it.

So happy I found this place…read more Located a hop, skip and a jump from Rosenheimer Platz, this place was my savior after a day at the Wiesn. Having had my fill of beer, I just wanted a glass of seltzer (or mineral water or whatever you choose to call it). Now, don't get me wrong, I love Germany but everywhere they seem to serve water in tiny glasses. I wanted a giant glass of water...and the awesome bartender set me up with a half liter glass full of sparkling water. So I had my water, which helped a lot and now I needed food. Luckily, even in my state I was able to read the menu and see they had a cheeseburger and fries platter. I know, not Bavarian but at that point, all I'd had all day since breakfast was one of these ginormous pretzels and the skin off of some roast chicken. The food was tasty (as far as I can recall) and it really helped getting some food on my tummy. Aside from the water and food, what made this place great was the service. The bartender, whose name I regret that I didn't get, was amazing. She was so nice and friendly and really took care of me. I'm sure I looked like another tipsy American tourist but she was a sweetheart. She had short hair and glasses and maybe some tattoos. Anyway, she's the real deal. There was some music that was nice too. Overall, a nice, friendly, clean and welcoming place. To be frank, it can be intimidating to enter a big German beer hall by yourself because it seems everyone knows one another and you're an outsider. Coming here was the exact opposite...I felt welcome right away. Definitely recommend this place!

I'd give four stars for the food and beverage, and zero stars for the service…read more We really just wanted to find a local pub to post up at, with a good beer list and maybe a small selection of nibbles. Munich has no shortage of beer halls, and a wide variety of restaurants, but we wanted a pub. A no-frills, come-as-you-are pub. The Royal Dolores was supposed to be that. It can be a bit tricky to find, if you come in the wrong door (which we did). Luckily, the nice man at the host stand walked us to the entrance of the Dolores, and told the waitress in the doorway that we were looking for a table. She got us squared away fairly quickly, which we appreciated. We were at one of the tables by the door, and it was warm. It was such a good start, but it all went downhill from there. We were seated at about the same time as a family of four, who were given the table next to us. We both placed orders at about the same time, and we both spent the rest of our evenings trying (and failing) to flag down the waitress. We each ordered a Löwenbräu Dunkel to start, and decided to share two of their tapas plates: the Dream of Schnitzel and the Fromage de France. I lost track of the amount of time it took for our beers to be delivered to our table, and stopped trying to track time when it came to the food. The Dolores isn't very big, and they weren't all that busy when we got there, so we were at a loss as to why the service was so bad. At one point, the mom at the table next to us leaned over to ask for our help flagging down the waitress, if we saw her before they did. The Dunkel wasn't that great - it had the flat flavor that always reminds me of a brown ale, though this draft did have just a tiny bit more flavor. My husband didn't really like the beer at all. He had planned on ordering a different beer to finish the night, but with the aforementioned missing waitress, it was impossible to do. The Schnitzel was delightful, and the cheeses were good (the sauces they served with the cheeses stole the show, to be honest). I wasn't particularly hungry at the time, but my husband wanted something to nibble on while we reclined and drank - that was the plan when we arrived, at least. I know we weren't the only ones bothered by the terrible service - the family next to us made it a point to tell the person who finally stopped to help us - not our waitress, by the way - about the amount of time it took for us all to receive our orders, and the fact that we were ignored the entire evening. It's unfortunate, too, because we both really wanted to like the Dolores, just given its location and the fact that it was the closest thing to a pub we could find at that time. It really only takes one thing to ruin a night for people, though.

The service is fantastic. We always just get beer here, but this time we decided to ask for their espresso martini. They have never made an espresso martini there before but said they would be able to do it, we saw them in the back pull out martini glasses from boxes that have never been opened, they completely went out of their way for us and made us one of our favorite espresso martinis we had in our whole trip to Europe! 10/10 for fantastic customer service! We will be back soon!
