If dining-in on a week day, I would recommend scheduling an early lunch during peak hours otherwise they welcome phone orders. Red Petite has a legion of loyal customers all coming back for second helpings of their signature dishes such as the Thai Green Chicken Curry, Massaman Beef Curry and Pad Thai. The service is speedy, the staff are sweet and the quality of food is unconditionally reliable from their Satay Skewers (paired with the best peanut sauce and roti bread) to their sinful Lego block size Brownie Cheesecake. Shut up and take my money!

Offering both tapas-style bites and bigger thai fares like curries and stir fries, this unassuming little hole in the wall cafe packs some pleasant surprises. For one, they rock a mean Masseman Curry. Their wine and beer list is well priced and probably better than any other asian cafe I've visited. They make their own desserts and offer a tasting platter of all. We stuffed ourselves silly on the curry and stir fries, but will give their various coconut treats a try next time. This spot is no secret to locals, I've walked past on many a night to see a packed footpath of diners on an otherwise dead-quiet Bank St. Thankfully they offer take away if you can't nab a table or if you would simply prefer the comfort of a couch and stretchy pants when devouring carbs like they're going out of fashion.

Pretty thrilled to have such an awesome place so close to my home!…read more Traffik is bright and full of great food you can get fast. All of the employees are cheerful and kind, happy to explain anything on the menu and give recommendations. More than just your average pita place, when you go up to order you'll notice that their display cabinet is also packed full of delicious pastries, from baclava to gluten free cakes. The only savoury food I've ever ordered is their falafel pita, which is pretty addictive. It comes in a small and large size, and I've always found that the smaller one is enough of a meal for me! It comes stuffed with chopped salad, sauce and pickles in a warm pita, and it's the perfect meal to grab on the walk home from the train station. The baclava is also absolutely delicious, and really hits the spot after the salty crunch of the felafel. If you're not sure what to order don't be scared to ask the staff what they like! They're always happy to tell you what the most popular meal is, as well as their favourite pastry of the day. You can grab some food to go or hang around, there's no shortage of seats indoors and outside. Last time I was there they were only accepting cash, so it's safe to assume that Traffik is currently a cash only establishment. Swing by next time you're in Windsor, you won't be disappointed!

Try the beef pocket with chili and a side of their seasoned chips - yummy!! The only (minor) downside is that you have wait for your order, which is great on one side as it means that your meal is being freshly prepared, however if you walk in there with your gastric juices already following, then that 10min wait can seem like a lifetime...! Would highly recommend! :)

This very real very live and bona fidely objective Yelp Elite reviewer thinks this is a fantastic place. * * * Claypot King is a Chinese Claypot restaurant in the gigantic Chinese food court at Box Hill Central shopping center. It is actually a chain. There are other Claypot Kings elsewhere in the greater Melbourne area. The menu is large for a food stall in a shopping court, but small for a sit down Chinese place. As you can guess - claypots are the order of the day. Claypot restaurants generally do soup as well. I had a dried scallop, winter melon, chicken herbal health soup. If you think Jewish chicken soup will make you healthy, (and Jewish chicken soup really does work), Chinese herbal health soup will make you even more healthy healthy. It is lighter, more refreshing, and just as nourishing. It has Chinese healing vegetables to boot. Even though the soup was light and mostly broth, The solid ingredients were delightful and fascinating. The shiitake mushrooms were powerful and flavorful. Dried scallops aren't as good as scallop scallops, but they had their charms. Winter melon is to fill you up and is a background player. There were various herbal bites I could not identify. The chicken stock was light as Chinese chicken stocks tend to be. This was no French double consomme. The chicken was chopped the Chinese way. (Take cleaver. Whack chicken randomly. Throw all the fragments, mis-formed or not, back into the soup. Go off and do something else.) Chinese chicken chopping is not one of the magical attractions of Asian cuisine. But the soup was absolutely positively divine. I noticed while waiting for my soup that the claypots coming out of the kitchen looked outstanding. I would love to have another thirty-eight dishes from the great Claypot King-dom.

Sunday morning breakfast was the point of this visit. The venue looks appealing, and some effort has been made here. That doesn't go unnoticed. The waitress working the shift was friendly and approachable. There's free wifi, though you need to ask for access. Sadly, the food lets the place down. It took over 10 minutes for the kitchen to realise they don't have the lemon sugar needed for lemon sugar pancakes, long after I'd become quite attached to the idea. My replacement dish was Eggs Florentine but sadly the poached eggs were overcooked, so the overall enjoyment was diminished.
