Very helpful!! Mom and I chose the crepe with Nutella with strawberry and banana one for her and one for me. We also added vanilla ice cream. And mom got a coffee with the heart shape on it! It did take a very long time but it was worth it! They were super warm and tasty! I really enjoyed my crepe! A little bit pricey to be honest but like I mentioned it was worth it. I'll be back soon! And this time a little bit early so I'm not there 10 mins before closing! The coffee was super yum! Mom loved it! Just how she likes it! Sweet but at the same time a little bit strong.

El restarancito estaba ocupadito y solo u mesero pero todo estaba relajado, y el servicio del muchacho estuvo muy bien. La comida muy rica y tenía un sabor a recién hecha - asi que si van no esperen algo súper rapido por que parece que lo hacen al momento. Pedimos la crepa Mediterránea que lleva una crema y prestó, uno de plátano con fresas y Nutella, y uno de naranja muy deliciosas las 3. También pedimos un té de frutas que acompaño perfectamente sin ser muy dulce. Afuera tenían música en vivo con violín y piano eléctrico. Well, today was not the day to get it right either. First we waited 15 minutes for someone to even take our order, and since this was at the start of a different shift (we were the last order before 4), I guess they didn't even print our receipt and 3 people got their orders before I even realized what was going on. Mind you, this is now half an hour in front of the register. I ordered 2 Triple C's, with me asking for one to be adjusted to add Nutella and take out whipped cream. I got a hot cake with Nutella and caramel syrup, without ice cream, custard, Oreos or ice cream. I would suggest training these kids to properly handle food, but it would be a moot point past their blank stare, considering their brains short-circuit the moment they need to follow a different set of directions. At this point, I'm sick of it and I just want to leave and not cause a scene over an order of stupid crepes, which is btw, almost $40 (!!) with tip and tax. Totally unacceptable.

We had the chance to meet the owner of the restaurant and he was the absolute sweetest to chat with! Our order came out very quickly, like maybe about 5-8 minutes. I loved the chipotle drizzle on top and the way he caramelized the onions and mushrooms, along with crisping the hash browns really nicely was the cherry on top. Some pieces of my hash browns were a little bit burnt but it wasn't a huge deal considering I like my potatoes really crispy. I was confused because I believe he gave me avocados in my order but I didn't remember getting any for my crepe; but I absolutely loved it with my order so it's definitely something that I would do again! I loved their interior decor; although there has been certain comments on it not giving "purple owl" vibes, I think everything looks well put together with several purple colored and owl decorations that respond to the name. There could always be more, but that seems like a nice fit to me, lol. Anyway, I loved my Fun Guy tartine with potatoes, and my matcha tasted just how I like it. Vegan whipped cream was on the menu, but they did not have it, so that was a bummer, but I'll call it blessing in disguise to avoid more calories. My friend and I wanted to try the Beyond Papas, but they were all out of beyond meat. She ended up ordering the Luca tartine and said it was okay but has had better. She loved her Purple Owl drink though! They had a clean restroom outside, which was a plus! I even returned to use it again before I hit the road back home because the porta potty lines were seriously unfavorable, and I'd rather go here (clean restroom over a porta potty) anytime I'm back in Julian.
