We recently had a 6 night stay at Caesar's republic. Overall a great trip. There is a Mountain View side (even numbers) and a lake view side (odd numbers). You can see the lake from Either side if you are up high enough. These views were from the 16th and 19th floors. The rooms have been recently renovated with an update to the wallpaper, paint, decor, and furniture. The dresser/fridge in our were not in great condition but worked for our needs. The fridge had a crack in the interior and the dresser hinges/drawers needed simple repairs. Clio's bar in the hotel lobby is great. Nas is the shining star bartender but he recently has some new bartenders at the bar that are getting up to speed. The Caesar's Republic and Harrahs Lake Tahoe lack casual dining options. Their solution is brew brothers on the casino floor where smoke billows in and slot machines are loud. They do boast Gordon Ramseys's Hells Kitchen and Vanderpumps Wolf which are great. We found Elements restaurant with a fabulous view less than a 10 minute drive from the hotel. Great mix of Mexican food and other options. We dined there a few times this week and it was a hit for our kids too. Lucky Beaver is a great breakfast and burger spot which is in walking distance across the street. This helps to make up for the hotel lacking in casual restaurants. The Golden Nugget across the street has an oyster bar which is small but decent food. They also have a brand new Mastros steakhouse which is fantastic. The new Caesars Republic pool is beautiful. The staff is still working out the kinks with bar/food service and having enough towels. The kids loved it. The arcade is great, the kids had great luck. I held my own for the most part at slots but didn't see any big wins even in high limit this trip. The poker room is a WSOP room. It's a nice room that is closed Sunday/Monday and really only livens up for the weekend. The dealers/room staff and the cocktail staff was great. It was a very busy week for the properties as summer is winding down and kids will be going back to school. We did experience a shortage of housekeeping. They didn't come for 3 days in a row. We didn't receive fresh towels even after requesting 7 times. This was really the only point of friction over our 6 day trip which was minimal considering. This is typically the warmest 2 weeks (last week of July/first week of August) for the water at Tahoe. The weather was perfect and the water was tolerable to get in and enjoy. It's an alpine lake so while beautiful it is always very cold. Overall a great trip. read more

Came on a whim with my boyfriend and throughly enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. We stayed in room 1401 which is a corner room with a balcony and phenomenal views of all of Lake Tahoe! The room has a living room with a pullout bed and 2 bathrooms a little wet bar and a king size bed! The shower has like 5 shower heads (so cool) and the bed is super comfy. I stayed in the car while my man booked the room and he raved about Ashly (who was in training at the time). She showed him the room and he was sold! Thank you Ashly because this room was amazing. My experience at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful, and there always seemed to be a huge line just to speak with someone. The housekeeping service was unacceptable. I called at 9:00 AM to request room service and returned at 6:00 PM to find that nothing had been done. I called again at 6:30 PM, left the hotel, and when I came back at 11:00 PM, the room still had not been serviced. I also had to call three separate times just to get fresh towels delivered. Overall, the customer service and housekeeping were far below what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The lack of responsiveness and poor service made for a very frustrating stay. I would not recommend staying here unless service standards improve significantly. read more

We recently stayed at Caesars Republic, which used to be Harvey's, and the updates are fantastic! The property looks entirely refreshed. They now feature a great selection of bars and lounge areas, plus two highly anticipated restaurants: Wolf and Hell's Kitchen. They also have a dueling piano bar that starts up later in the evening, which adds a fun energy to the nightlife.Our room was completely updated, looked brand new. Our only disappointment was that both Wolf and Hell's Kitchen were entirely booked up, so we missed out on trying them this time. We will absolutely be back in the future to check out the dining! read more

RUDE STAFF!! Front desk clerk was rude and unaccommodating. We just asked to be close to another couple in another room and got this BIG SONG AND DANCE how we can request it but it's not guaranteed - OK, we are actively checking in, can you make it happen or not? Like why do have to be a jerk and say that just see if it's possible first and guess what, it was. Anyhow, then we had a 'rent-a-cop' that was rude to us blah, blah, blah but the kicker was KELSEY in the Alto bar. This 'person' should be fired immediately. She/her/them/they whatever, is the worst bartender, ignoring customers and only servicing the cocktail waitresses and when I finally got a drink from Kelsey, I ordered a Bloody Mary with zero spice and this 'bartender' looked at me in my eyes and said 'enjoy' and it was so spicy, I was coughing and she ignored me when I tried to ask for water. Not sure what I did to piss Kelsey off, maybe she was OTR??? read more

Our room looks recently renovated, but came with some problems / downsides: - Shampoo, conditioner, and body washer dispensers were empty when we got there - TV was not secured levelled. Off by 10 degrees or more. Wouldn't stay adjusted. Required maintenance crew to fix - Toilet tank flapper had a small leak, so the tank will loudly try to refill every 30 minutes. Not good for light sleeper. - USB C charger next to one of the beds doesn't work - HVAC is a bit loud, but typical decibel levels compared to other hotels - As of March 2026, the entire hotel is being renovated. Parts of it looks old and dingy. The indoor pool is not open. - Resort fees are about $36 per day. The room comes with a mini bar with snacks inside for a premium convenience price. All items are monitored electronically, so if anything moved, your room will get charged. This is not good if you have kids because the candy is always tempting. The positives: - Comfortable beds - Hot showers - Decent arcade for kids - OK location. Short walk to the gondola. ~13 minute walk to Target. Parking is $17-20 per day. Free for Caesars rewards with a diamond or 7 star status. Like most casino hotels, no free breakfast, but the cafe downstairs (Chloe) sells good croissants. You get two free small bottles of water in the room, but it's not enough. Don't forget to stock up supplies from Target before you go. read more

We stayed here for a few nights in the Romulus tower on the 18th floor. The views were absolutely stunning and the location is ideal. We spent almost of our gambling time over at harrahs right next door since it was more lively and it's just a quick walk away via the tunnel connection. Cesar's always takes care of us as rewards members and they did not disappoint. Very happy with our stay! Nice hotel but HORRIBLE customer service. Rude and incompetent staff and dirty hotel rooms. We recently stayed here with a group and requested our 2 hotel rooms be near each other and for early check in months ago which they refused to accommodate. Wouldn't let us check in until 10 minutes past check in time despite many repeated attempts. Staff has no idea what's going on. When walking by we noticed an ice machine leaking everywhere when we brought it to staff's attention they looked at us blankly and asked "what should I do?" THE MANAGER DANNY had a huge attitude problem when we raised all of these concerns to him and insinuated that we were lying. read more

Love this hotel!! Rooms are newly renovated in the Remus Tower. Super nice super modern! Beds are comfortable. There is a refrigerator in the room and there was a floor to ceiling window view of the beautiful mountains and the strip! Loved it such a great view!! The bathroom is a good size , shower has a good water pressure. Only bad thing is the lighting wasn't good. It gets really dark in room so it was hard to do makeup lol. Staff was friendly. However it took forever to get our luggage to our room. We missed our dinner reservation because of it. Also checking in there was only two people and there was a long line it took forever to even get in our room. Besides that we love the hotel. read more

Had a great stay! This hotel was everything I needed it to be. I had stayed here in the past when it was Harvey's (I think) and didn't love it but this time around I was very impressed! I was attending a trade show and my husband stayed here during the day with our toddler. The arcade kept him entertained, Cinnabon was great for obvious reasons and milk boxes which my toddler goes through like crazy. After the event, we went to Hell's Kitchen which is one of our favorite restaurants ever. Luckily they were kind and accommodating to my toddler. We agreed when we come back to Lake Tahoe, tradeshow or not, we'll be back at this hotel. read more

Although we visited in the middle of a huge renovation, we had a great stay. Fortunately, we received a room upgrade, on the 17th floor, with beautiful views of the lake! Our room had been recently renovated, wide open spaces and perfectly cleaned. We didn't have issues with loud construction noise, probably because the room was so high up, but I can definitely see that being an issue for lower floors. I'm looking forward to visiting again, once all the rebranding is complete as there was way too much construction throughout the lobby and casino floor. read more

Saw Darius Rucker here at the outdoor music concert venue. This was my 3rd time here. Always a good show. Parking is pricey. The outdoor venue is set up pretty well. I prefer being on the sides where I can be in the back row and Jean against the fence. Beers are pricey. Suggest that you pre game somewhere. Bring a jacket. Always colder than you think once that sun hides away. read more

Caesar Republic replace Harvey's that was previously there. Stayed here over the weekend. A huge renovations for the check-in. We checked in late Friday night around 11:30 p.m. The lady at the customer service desk was really rude. My husband was excited about the new renovations and had a few questions. she acts like she didn't want to be there and didn't answer our questions. The rooms look the same besides changing the carpet. It was very dusty and lenty For the casino floor they did add a lot of new slots, which we were really excited about table games were the same there were a few more tables but the environment was much louder and the lights were super super bright. The drink service person did come around a lot more often than before. Definitely will be back because I like the slots but not sure how I feel about the whole renovations yet. They do still have a lot of more work to do. read more

Cesars took over the Harveys that has been here forever. Lots of construction and game floor very limited. The original construction from Harveys is still there, the cinnabon, same little shops, and kids arcade. They took out my favorite feature in the lobby, the fountain and replaced it with lights that took away the charm. Not a favorite casino anymore for me. read more

I booked a comped stay and was skeptical based on reviews since I had never stayed there or any Ceasars property. I actually really enjoyed my stay there and would happily stay again. The resort is clean and beautiful! Plus the surrounding area means you're not stuck at just one place and can explore the area and restaurants. CVS is across the street for affordable waters, snacks and other items. I got a burger from Lucky Beaver next to CVS and took it back to my room to watch the sunset. I highly recommend the food from there. I stayed 1 night on Saturday 4/18/26 and only saw one small area on the casino floor with people doing construction. From what I saw the renovation is pretty much done. I stayed in a king lake view room in the Romulus Tower on the 10th floor and it was spacious and the view was amazing! I got to watch the sunset over the lake from my room. The way the rooms are built it looks like you have a corner view which is unique and gorgeous! The bed was comfortable and the heat worked amazing and so did the fan which is good because it's really powerful so it brings it up or down to temperature quickly. The water was hot and the pressure was fine. I actually really liked the spacious bathroom with the seperate toilet room and the fact there was a seperate vanity area with mirror and stool. I really enjoyed my stay and since I only live about an hour and a half away I'll gladly take one or two night trips up there and stay at Ceasars. read more

There has to be something mentally wrong with you if you stay in this hotel. Yes, some of the rooms have been remodeled but they are still just OK. It has the WORST customer service I have ever seen in my life in any hotel. I spent an hour trying to get through to someone on the phone while I was staying there. I couldnt get wifi and they blamed it on my phone, which was a lie. An hour of my evening calling and calling every dept in the hotel. Then I gave up and decided to watch TV--and there was no remote. Spent another half an hour trying to get the remote. The hotel refused to compenstate me in any way. The place sucks beyond belief. The restaurants are overrated as well. I won't be staying here again. read more

We booked through the Caesars app. The pictures of what looked like a remodeled room. Supposed to be a king bed in one of their newly renovated rooms, but we got a room with two queens and looked nothing like the room in the pictures when we booked. With some hesitation from the front desk... We got "upgraded" to a room with a king on a lower floor and it was in worse shape then our first room. Old shower with tub, clogged up and couldn't shower. The dresser/fridge also was broken down. If this is how you treat your rewards members, shame on Caesars. Be aware when they promote these new rooms and show them when you book, only to be given a room that hasn't been remodeled anytime recently. read more

We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and this place absolutely sucked. Check in was fine, but they never told us we needed a card to be able to exit as we please. We had to ask and when we asked the front lobby staff was very rude and talked to us like we were stupid for not having the card. The room, for the price, it was nothing fancy and the bed was terribly uncomfortable. The tv, the channels suck and we live in the time where we should be able to log into streaming services like every other hotel out there. We stayed for 3 nights and never once got room service, we had to call for things we needed, like towels and toilet paper. We also ordered room service and ordered from brew bros across the street at the harrahs, when we ordered there was no option to charge the room so we used another credit card, when we checked out we were charged twice and our order was wrong on top of it. Luckily at checkout they were able to correct the charges. The only thing that saved this place was the food and service at Hell's Kitchen. The food and service was 5 stars. They are still doing renovations, but this place needs more than just a face lift. It's outdated and most of their staff is terribly rude. We would not stay here again, but we would come eat at Hell's Kitchen again. read more

Do not pay $35 for the pool/spa resort pass. It's advertised as having a pool and spa, food and a bar. The pool is in serious need of rehabilitation ( cracks everywhere), the jacuzzi is permanently out of service and there's no way to even get food delivered. And parking is $25, not $20. read more

Had to cross street to Harrah's for gaming and food. Room was OK...however, no robes, shower cap, and other add-ons usually provided at hotel of this level. Ok, I had a friend in from Missouri for a few days. I booked my reservation through Hotels.com On arrival the construction was all over the place. I feel that the fact it was under construction, we weren't informed. I could not get anyone on the phone for anything. The rom service was not available. I feel that i should have been informed. Most of the employees were new that we delt with, which wasn't their fault but were not much help. I spent 180 + . I will probably not go back. read more
