Came here for the first time to celebrate my father in laws bday a while back...the only nice thing I have to say about this place is our waitress was sweet. Walking in, the whole floor is sticky. We got sat in a back corner booth and promptly forgotten about for 20 mins. We had to get someone ourselves (it wasn't even busy). Like I said when the waitress finally got to our table, she was nice. I got a chicken sandwich that was mostly inedible. It was dry, no sauce and the patty was overcooked and gristley (how do you even get gristley chicken??) With all that said, the most exciting part of our visit was when the mascot made an appearance on the wall next to our table....A COCKROACH. I honestly wanted to like this place because it's close and we don't have a ton of restaurant options in this town, but I'd skip this place and just go to Hardee's. read more

First visit and will be our only visit. Dinner for three cost $100 with tip. The rooster planks (chicken strips) were the worst of our food. The "chicken" was not real breast meat but more of a processed chicken paste. I had the Cab special which was hamburger steak. Again it was mostly a patty with alot of breading or fillers. Excellent place to stop and eat The food is always good, the drinks are pretty good. There is a bit of a wait but it's worth it. My son and I loved the escargot, We'd never tried it before and we are both glad we did! Definitely give this place a try! read more

I usually eat at the Cafe on Gateway right next door to the Cadillac grill. I learned that it is owned by the same owner so thought I would stop and pick up supper to take home. Let me first say that Cafe on Gateway restaurant has excellent food. But they only serve breakfast and lunch. I would give them five stars any day. I called Cadillac grill to place an order for fish and chips. It says it comes with fish and chips and coleslaw. I said for the two sides. Would you have any vegetables? And she said they had baked potatoes, mashed potatoes and green beans. I asked if they had broccoli like most restaurants do and she said, we have green beans. Her voice was not that friendly. Now the menu says fish and chips are $11. I ask for my two sides to be a side salad and the chips. They make them fresh. I go inside to pick up my order and it was $25.18. I asked why my bill was so much and I noticed they charged me $5 for a side salad. I explained that I ask for my two sides to be a side salad and the chips and she argued with me and said she took my order and she never said anything about two sides. I explained I said for my two sides I would like a side salad and chips. She still argued with me. I paid the bill and went to the car. I looked at the food and I am going to post a picture of the side salad and the fish and chips so you can see the tiny bit of salad. They charged me $5 for. I called the restaurant to say I'm confused why I paid $5 for this tiny bit of lettuce and there was a little bit of red onion. I didn't see any bacon bits or anything else and just lots of croutons and a little bit of chopped tomato. Now the person that answered the phone was the waitress that waited on me and she said she was also the manager of the place. She argued with me to say I made your salad and I know it's bigger than that. And I said I'd be glad to bring it back and show you and she said what can I do to make you happy. I said what do you normally do when a customer has this issue because they ordered a side salad and chips as there's two sides that you charged me $5 for the side salad which is hardly any lettuce whatsoever. She said I need for you to tell me what I can do to make you happy. She said that about five times. I said I guess next time I'm in give me another salad but will it be a full salad worth $5 or will it be what you gave me tonight and she said well I can have you make it with me. I told her that I would never be back to the restaurant and if she could tell the owner that I'll be glad to take a free side salad from Cafe on Gateway where I eat at least once a week because they have such excellent service and excellent food. She said she would be glad to do that. As I continue to drive home I get to thinking about my bill. I look at the menu online and it says $11 so I'm wondering how $11 + $5 equals $25.18. I call the restaurant and she said we had a price increase in January. I said from $11 to $17.99 and she said yes. So when I get home I take pictures of everything so I can post on Yelp so you can see what they charge me $5 for The container is barely half full and it's one of those small square take-home containers. I'm posting a picture of the fish and chips because they look excellent but when I try to eat the fish and put the fork into the fish it just fell apart and crumbled and it was very hard to eat. Was not a big fan of the tartar sauce. Sauce didn't have much flavor and I will have to say the chips were very good. They really need to work on their service and somehow fix how the cod just falls all in tiny pieces and you have to get a spoon to eat it. read more

We are just stopping through on a trip from Nashville, Tennessee to Greenville, South Carolina. The food was great! I saw a review for the jalapeño prime rib appetizer and had to go in and try it! They were delicious. Kris was our bartender and she was amazing! Smart and sweet, very personable. Great service, tasty food, excellent price point. Highly recommend! read more

This is the third time in two months we have come to the Cadillac Grill, and the last. It took over an hour and fifteen minutes to get our (2 of us) meal, and it wasn't busy at all. The food has been getting worse every time we have visited. This time it was luke warm and extremely greasy. It is extremely expensive too, $65 for hamburger and fish and chips, with ice teas. If you are driving through keep going. Head to Spring City or Harriman to get something to eat. The food is disgusting and the cooks are so slow they might be going backwards.
