How old is this facility and how are the patients treated?

Frequently changes names, currently Complete Care, the same staff remains with few doing the work while most do as little as possible. They won't even replace the microwave because the staff is too lazy to heat anything for the patients. Simple… Read more

I was so focused on location that I wasn't considering other factors, such as recovery and the best program for me. I needed more than a chiropractor who could perform physical therapy. I didn't realize the first place I visited didn't have physical therapists on staff. My stereotype of a chiropractor is someone who snaps your neck and walks on your back (slight exaggeration). My doctor suggested ATI. I walked into a clean, organized space. Everyone was in uniform. All of the furniture matched. The patient tables were in great condition and looked like my "stereotype" of a physical therapy office. There were crisp, white towels folded under each patient table. The exercise equipment looked new (so that's what exercise equipment looks like). There was a candy dish on the counter (I KNOW what a candy dish is). The physical therapist was kind and patient. He asked great questions about each area of pain. Even though Christopher *tortured me and I wanted to punch him, he was awesome. *Torture, i.e. lightly touched my injured areas and had me do baby exercise movements. He took detailed notes on all of my decrepedness and really paid attention to what I was saying about my injuries. When his light touch was too much, he would give me a break. After each "torture" session, you get heat treatment. Yummy! I have more treatments to go but I feel good about my decision to visit this place. I just want to be in the best condition possible so I can clean my house without being in pain. It still hurts to laugh hard.......

My sessions with Phil at Tavo health have been among the most beneficial treatments I have…read morereceived. It was challenging to get an appointment with him, because he is so well-thought of that his schedule fills up quickly. Once I got in to see him, I understood why. His work is physical therapy - but much more. His knowledge is remarkable, attention and focus during treatment complete, and the use of myofascial release is at a level few practitioners achieve. Myofascial release, I have learned, is an understanding that the fascia of the body (the white stuff that surrounds meat that you buy) is like a single suit surrounding all of our muscles and organs. It can get tight in areas as we get dents and dings or have accidents or surgery in life. Amazingly, releasing those dents and dings can sometimes release emotions around the pain held in the body. Phil's kindness and care allowed me to feel safe and comfortable as my body adjusted and regained stability which significantly decreased pain. I traveled far for my appointments, so I tended to schedule longer sessions. I think that was beneficial, as we really got a chance to release the muscles and fascia that were restricted. He also spent time teaching me how I could do exercises to maintain the improvements he helped me achieve. Following that guidance has also been very helpful.

I've know Phil for years and he is continually taking classes to improve himself and his skills in…read moremyofascial release! He is caring and compassionate about his work and very knowledgable. I no longer have migraines and menstrual issues. Myofascial release (MFR) has changed my life. If you are in pain there is no other bodywork that is more healing than MFR. Phil is also an author and "What's In Your Web" is a great book to read from therapists that has truly felt the healing power of MFR. I highly recommend you read it and book an appt. with Phil and Kathleen.

I have worked with two great Physical Therapists and two great Occupational Therapists. OT's were Roxy and Jorge (George) and the PT's are Dr. Calvin Baxter and Suki. Suki is the one I am currently working with. I am a difficult case in the sense I have a ton of stuff going on (had several surgeries over the last 6 years and not the best help until I found these folks). What I love about this group is that they are constantly learning. I need a PT with dry needling experience. Dr. Baxter and Suki have that. Also what I love is that the PT's spend time with you. Once the Tech's take over, the PT's are available should a problem arise or if there are a questions. The Tech's are great as well. They guide us and assist us to make sure we are doing the exercises correctly. They are a great support as well. They listen and help according to whatever the need is. Lastly, White Oak Physical Therapy is a community therapy office that treats me like a private practice. By the way, I have been coming for the last two months (during the Covid-10 Pandemic). The Owner has created an extremely safe place for his staff and clients. The entire staff wear masks. The physical therapists wear scrubs, face masks and face shields. Temperatures are taken as soon as you walk in the door. Sanitizer is available. All equipment and machines are sanitized after each and every use. It is definately a safe haven for those that wish to return and those that need a place to get receive rehabilitation help.
