I inserted 1 dollar to get detergent but I lost 1 dollar for getting nothing. I was still lucky because when I used the coin exchange to get some 25 cents coins it was working. However, after a while, the 25 cents ran out and it just swallowed the larger amount of coins or bills and returned nothing. That really pissed many customers off. The good thing is they have XL size washing machine, it costs $9 but I think you can wash the laundry for an 1-month load

Great fast service! Dry cleaning is done organically and hasn't irritated my skin…read more For 1$/pound you get wash and fold service, which to get "caught up" after a trip, linens, and a busy week (with a condo sized washer/dryer) this was a small amount of money well-spent. The woman folds amazingly (I love how I discovered all my socks together) and underwear is sorted apart from other clothes (makes it easy to put away after!) The same woman also does her alternations on-site. A hidden gem! Don't be fooled by the many "Depot" or chain cleaners, the little guy always is better, in my opinion. I will most certainly be using them again!

0/5 stars. This place honestly needs to be shut down…read more After a trip to the Caribbean, I brought in my fairly new jacket for dry cleaning. I've only had it a little over a year, and it was in excellent condition, no stains, no holes, nothing. When I brought it in, the woman working there insisted on charging me an extra $16 to "repair" the zipper because there were a few loose threads. She said it needed to be fixed before cleaning to prevent damage. It was literally just a loose thread, but I paid it anyway. I dropped my jacket off on Monday, and the pickup date they gave me was Thursday at 5 PM. I went to collect it, and suddenly my coat wasn't there. She told me to come back the next day. I said okay and called the following day to confirm it was ready before coming in. That's when I was told some nonsense story that my jacket had a stain and needed to be re-cleaned. My jacket had no stain when I brought it in, so what are you talking about? Then she told me to come back Monday. I told her that was impossible because it was -6°C, snowing and raining heavily, and this is my winter coat. I needed it by the next day at the latest. After that, I was given yet another story, this time that the delivery driver couldn't deliver because of the rain. None of this made any sense. I then asked for the store manager's number, and she refused to give it to me. Instead, she tried offering 50% off my next service but there will absolutely NOT be a next time. This morning (Saturday) she finally called to say my coat was ready. When I went to pick it up, I saw that the hardware on my all-black jacket is now completely scratched, to the point that it looks silver instead of black. When I pointed this out, she had the nerve to tell me I brought the jacket in like that and that there was nothing she could do about it. So after keeping my coat two extra days, giving me multiple false explanations, refusing to give me the manager's contact, and damaging my jacket, they still refused to take any responsibility. Terrible service from beginning to end. Zero accountability. And to the business responding to other reviews claiming customers are "scamming" you, trust and believe I have all the time in the world. People deserve to know exactly how this business operates. Don't bother trying to delete this review either, because I will just post another one. But masking and social distancing are not being enforced here at all. One man was doing several loads at a time, going from machine to machine without any regard for social distancing and not wearing a mask. I described this situation to Toronto Public Health and they said if any unmasked customer is sick, there's a high risk of transmission. Oh and people bring in their food and eat it here, which shouldn't be permitted either.

I come here weekly to wash my laundry and the place is very clean and there isn't a need to wait because there is so many washers and dryers. I noticed that they also have dry cleaning and I've had a white leather purse which needed to be cleaned because my blue leather jeans rubbed off on my purse. I have been to many drycleaners and they all say the same thing, the dye will not come off, it is not worth cleaning. I decided to give Just Like Home a try. The gentleman told me he cannot guarantee that the dye will come off but they will give it a try. 2 weeks later I receive a call to pickup my purse. I was so surprised when I seen it, it looked like brand new. You couldn't even tell my purse previously had blue dye all over. I love it. I definitely recommend their services, you will not be disappointed. Jennifer O

First, the cleanliness. Many laundromats have filthy floors. But not this one. When we visited, it was very clean. Almost exemplary. And the washroom was also very clean and obviously well maintained, which is rare in itself. The washing machines didn't have any weird smells, black fungus or stuck old detergent from previous users. Second, the equipment. It was good. Well maintained Electrolux washers and dryers. The smallest washer (20 lb) did a good job with a regular wash and warm water. The price - 5 CAD for 28 minutes. The dryer dried our small load in just 16 minutes (1 CAD). The biggest washer takes 77 pounds, which is quite impressive. Third, the vending machines. They were well stocked. You could even buy big bottles of detergent if you wanted to. Plenty of snacks and drinks as well. Fifth, the atmosphere. There was a lot of seating near big windows. Two TVs were playing racing and wildlife. Quite cozy. The area also has interesting food choices nearby (some of them are very questionable though, be careful). What could be better: - coins don't always go through, we had to retry a couple times (never had this issue before) - main wash requires powder detergent (we didn't have it, so had to buy one for 2 CAD for a single load using the vending machine) Overall, though, my kid declared it to be his favorite laundromat. And I agree.
