Great wine! Disappointed they were not making slushies due to the time of year, but we left with two cases of wine.

They have a good selection of cider. The blackberry is very tasty and goes down smooth. The Mead is a must try. I purchased a bottle to take home. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is very nice and has great displays. read more

This was our second winery stop after a short hike on the laurel falls trail. Our group had two different tasters. Ours was very pleasant, describing the wines and our tasting choices. We enjoyed the mead wine to take home. They had some cute plastic wine glasses with the bear logo with a wine glass for a nose. Perfect for us since our 10 person airbnb only had 2 wine glasses. The second taster for the other half of my group acted put off that we had stopped at another winery prior. We stopped at this winery after a day of hiking and after stopping at Tennessee Mountainview Winery, which is just 3 minutes down the street. I don't remember all that we tried since their wine menu was posted up on a glass panel and I did not have anything to write on (so I would have liked a printed menu to make notes). However, we did try all of their sweet wines which were all enjoyable. I had a hard time deciding which ones to bring home. We brought home: Red Muscadine Sweet - this was very sweet compared to the white one which was a very good traditional white muscadine Rustic cabin red - also a good sweet concord wine Mead - I haven't been a big fan of mead wines, which theirs was very good! Service was great here - social distance practiced with other patrons and by the workers behind the glass. Overall loved all the wines here. read more

Stopped in after hiking for a complimentary wine tasting. The wine itself was good, but overall tasting experience was, eh. The woman working was rushing and seemed annoyed that we came in. Wanted instant decisions on the next choice before current was poured. We were the only ones inside so really I didn't see the rush. Building itself was kinda dark and just didn't have the fun atmosphere of other places. Tastings done in small plastic containers, kind of like what you would get salad dressing in at a restaurant. Overall it was still a nice time, but wouldn't go out of your way to get here! read more

The storefront was attractive and had plenty of items to look at and browse through. The inside of the store was clean and inviting. We sampled the wine at the taste testing bar and bought two bottles. We opened a bottle that evening when we returned to our cabin. It was a Red table wine called Fall Bounty and we paid $22 for the bottle. Oddly the wine from the bottle we purchased did not taste the same as what we were given in the tasting room. We let it breathe and it still did not improve. The wine lacked complexity and finished harshly with an aftertaste we could not place. It really wasn't enjoyable. Probably the worst wine I have ever tasted. We will not return. We are unable to figure out why the same wine sampled at the tasting was so different than the one we bought. read more

Stopped by to do a tasting of their wines, which is free at this location. I ended up doing a tasting of their red wines and pretty much liked them all. My 2 favorites were the rustic cabin and blush. All their bottles are priced nicely. We ended up buying a bottle of the rustic cabin to take back to VA. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. They're also taking all the right covid precautions which is really appreciated. Definitely recommend checking them out. read more

We were on our way back into Sevierville after a wonderful day at Smoky Mountain National Park and drove past this little unassuming building which housed the winery. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I very much enjoyed their white wines. And ended up with 6 bottles. Easy to get into and out of and I would recommend a stop! read more

Stopping in for a free wine tasting was a last minute decision, but I'm so glad we did! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the wines, which made it easy to choose which wines to try. The shop itself had cute wine trinkets, glasses, stoppers, etc. We ended up buying a bottle and two wine glasses and enjoying them out on the porch which was just a beautiful experience. I wanted to give a quick shout out to Whitney and the other employees at Cades Cove Cellars. We did enjoy the wine and the free tastings, and we came home with a bottle of Cabernet However, just as important, all employees were masked, all patrons were masked, and social distancing is being practiced. This location of Cades cove was not as nice as the one in Townsend. It is smaller and doesn't have the atmosphere that the other had. This caught our attention because it is part of a wine tour. We want to try all 5 to get a prize. They did have a few wines that were hard not buy because they were really good. read more

Delicious wines! This was one of our stops on the wine trail and it did not disappoint. Try the roaring fork. This was also one of the cheaper wines on the wine trail. Even my boyfriend(who's not largely into wine) found some he enjoyed. read more
