This school is amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects when it comes to my daughter! They never hesitate to answer questions or try to help when they can! My daughter has grown so much since attending this school.. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to feel safe and confident that their child is well taken care and is safe while they are at work all day or doing whatever it is they have to do all day!! My son has been attending since he was 6 weeks old and he is now almost 3! The teachers here go ABOVE AND BEYOND for their students and love them as if they were their own children. My son continues to excel because of their steady home like environment and engaging activities. Even though my son is 2, he can speak extremely clear, knows all his letters of the alphabet, can count to 18 and recognize all his shapes and colors, and he's potty trained! My son started at Cadence December 2021 and he had just turned 3 years old. It was a big step for us to put him in daycare/preschool and I was nervous, but I felt comfortable after talking and meeting the staff. Ms. Kelly made the transition much easier. She and my son have a special bond and I know it's because she was the one who would take him inside and to his class. His teachers have been amazing and so loving. My son has learned and grown so much since he started and he has made so many friends. Tomorrow is my son's last day because he will be moving onto Kindergarten and we are very sad to say goodbye. We enrolled our two daughters in March 2022 and like a month later all the teachers and the director quit. I didn't know what happened and was a little nervous but I have to say the new staff is amazing. Kids do a lot of activities and they are happy everyday. This daycare is not only a daycare for my kids it's there home away from home. My kids have became close to teachers and kids here. They have stayed open during this Covid pandemic and I'm thankful for that. Me being an essential worker I still needed daycare. They have takin extra measures to make sure all the kids attending are safe and healthy. They helped me potty train my 2 year old. They actually teach kids here my 2 year old knows how to count say her ABC and she has learned sign language. They made sure my older kids are on there zoom meetings everyday and homework done. I appreciate everyone who makes my littles days go by smoothly. My kids love it there. I love them they have made my life so much more less stressful knowing my kids are in good hands. My daughter just officially moved to Ms. Pam Pam class. This move has been a long time coming, and I was so ecstatic when it finally arrived. Ms Pamela, or better known by her students as Ms. Pam Pam, there is so much to say but where to begin, Ms. Pam is one very dedicated and patient teacher. My son isn't easy to work with and requires a set of patients not many posses but for the last 2 years she has really dedicated a lot of her time and attention to making sure my son catches up to were he needs to be to start school and thanks to her I'm confident he is. She makes sure she spends plenty of one on one time with all her children and makes everyone feel just as important as the next. My son comes home every day bummed out he's gotta leave his Pam Pam, she makes learning fun and exciting and she is so full of life and it trickles down to the kids. My son has behavior problems and before Ms Pam I received calls weekly but since he's been with Ms. Pamela I haven't received a single call and I even see the positive behavior change at home. I wish there were more Ms. Pam's in the education world. read more

I have 4 kids that attend this daycare. Honestly the reviews worried me, but due to the fact that they have bus service from my boys elementary, I decided to try it out. I totally found a Gem! From the office staff to the teachers, I love this place. Finding good Daycare's is probably one of the hardest and most stressful things to do. You are trusting a stranger to care for your child well. The teacher kept me informed and use an app that allows me to check on my child's progress through the day. They post pictures of different activities. The teachers care for my kids so so well. My children actually LOVE going to daycare and have always had great things to say about their teachers. They also have some pretty fun activities for the kids for special occasions! From a protective mom who does research and doesn't just allow their kids to go anywhere, I highly recommend!! read more

I have two children that attend childcare. My daughter who is 3 goes to a Merryhill and this daycare compared to others is a complete dump. My son (8) went here for the after school program. And In the school age classroom they had a nasty couch with stains holes and looked like it was falling apart. When I noticed they got a new one I mentioned it and the teachers reply to me was "we are poor we don't have any money to buy new stuff" Every day there were new exposure notices on the class room doors for things like hand foot and mouth, for lice, for pink eye etc. The place doesn't look like it gets deep cleaned at night. We are a military family and the military gave us a 30 day notice to find new child care because the school received over 5 citation in less than 1 year. ( Maybe more ) Another example of the teachers, she asked us why we were leaving the school we told her and her response " you know I'm surprised that we are still opened it's ridiculous all the citation this place have received. " This is a company that even the staff know how horrible their facility is. My advice to parents is please do your own research and compare this child care to others. This is not a top notch childcare facility for younger children who can't completely tell you about their day. I am a mom who has been dealing with different day care for over 8 years. So my experiences and comparison is real. This place is a dump. read more

My son had gone here for 3 years and at first my experience was nothing but good, the amount I paid and the quality received was well worth it. In the last year and especially the past 2 months this school has gone downhill as tuition on the other hand has gone up. It started in the 2 year old room when my son told me the teacher hit him and called him fat. He was then moved to the 3 year old room with Ms. PamPam who was wonderful and the only reason I didn't pull him from the school then. Everything was good, Pam was amazing and my son was excelling. Then came the pre-k class with two new and very disappointing teachers. My son started acting out horribly at school and I couldn't figure out why. He then started telling me his teachers are mean and one of them hits his leg. He started getting so anxious about having to go to school I started noticing when we would turn the corner to get there he would start scratching at his booster seat. I complained to the school about what was going on in that classroom and they were "going to look into it". I even went to the regional director who also did nothing. In the past two months 5 kids in that class have been expelled, yes expelled, from that class for acting out, kids who were perfectly happy and fine in the other classrooms previously because the teachers in that class yell and scream and even hit the kids that they are so scared and upset they are running from them because they are under so much stress. The turnover rate at this school is also a huge problem! Most teachers last a few months then a new one is brought on, that is not enough time for the teachers to really build a bond and relationship with the kids. The teachers in the pre-k class are high stress and have no patience. My son has since started a new school and is again back to his happy self and no behavior problems like he had once moved to that classroom. read more

I brought my oldest here for Preschool, by the time she went into T-K she was already writing her name & knew her entire alphabet by sight and sounds. Last year I enrolled my youngest into their daycare/learning program (she was 3) while my oldest was enrolled into their Summer program (she was 6). They had so much fun! My youngest has now moved into the preschool class. I love picking my daughter up from school and seeing her so happy and fully engaged with the class and teachers. The school even has an app/email service that gives you notes, pictures and events from your child's day. Makes my husband and I feel even more included in their day! We love the fact she comes home talking about what she has learned. She now knows how to write majority of her letters! They have even been able to accommodate my daughters dietary restrictions. My girls have enjoyed attending school here. This coming summer my oldest will be coming back. From the teachers to the staff & admin, the changes the school has made have been great! We have even developed some friendships within the staff. Ms. Pam & Ms. Candice (Sea Turtles Class) both have been INCREDIBLE teachers and a great support system with my children! Both my girls have been blessed to have them as their teachers! Front staff Ms. Brooke is beyond wonderful & helpful, such a great smile to walk into every morning. My daughter has been coming here for a little over a year. Teacher Ally is the absolute best! If you are looking for someone who will provide love and nurture your child Ally is the one. Teacher Artika and Lydia are weren't even necessarily in my daughters room but I knew when they were around she was guaranteed a safe a fun day. She was recently moved up to the toddler room where we met Mrs. Gurdeep. From my understanding she is one of the longest standing teachers at the school, and I see why. She applies the perfect balance of discipline, structure, and most important love to the kids. She completely understands what kids need to learn and grow at this age and applies it everyday. Finally the front desk staff. One thing that I think makes a the difference everyday my daughter goes to school is the front desk staff greets her every single day. Though they may not work in the rooms regularly they also take the time to learn who the children are and greet them each individually. As a working mother I can say I appreciate all that Phoenix has done to ensure my is safe, learning, and most important happy each day she is at school. read more

I've been coming here on and off for almost 10 years. Used to recommend this daycare to everyone I knew. I even drove an hour and a half to bring them here because my kids loved it here and their friends they made and the teacher they ended up with. Pam and Gurdeep are the only good teachers they have. A teacher was fired for grabbing my child. Once my 4 year old was transitioned out of Pams room he started mysteriously having all of these behavior problems. They claimed he was running out of class, trying to escape the building, was even climbing the fences outside to get away from them. I asked the school repeatedly to put my kid back into Pams room so we can transition him slowly, everyday they would say they would, and everyday they would call me and tell me some crazy event was happening. I have never had my child act the way they were saying ever. Ultimately, my child was so miserable he would not listen to the different class rooms they kept putting him in and they disenrolled him. He is excelling well at his new school with no behavior problems. The teachers at this school SUCK. Do not send your kids to this daycare from hell. One of the teachers walked out right in front of me and told the "director"to write her up if she needed to because she was leaving and walked right out the door. Another old teacher was caught by me screaming at my child when he was trying to leave the gate after he saw me waiting for him. None of the teachers last longer than a few months and they are horrible to these babies. As soon as my new day care has a spot open for my 2 year old, we will never be returning. This school is trash, dirty, and the staff does not care about you actually being a good parent. Talisha "floating director"looks at you like your stupid every time you have a converstion with her. Trash!!! After 10 years, I will never send one of my kids to a phoenix or recommend one ever again. Keep looking! read more

My son is in the barnyard class. Gurdeep is a amazing teacher. I always see her with a smile on her face. She has so much energy. She always have the best interest in my child. She is very consistent in coming to work. Prior to her there were various teachers I would be so nervous to take my kid to school. Now that Gurdeep has been there it has been great. read more

I hate that I left my son here. Apparently they are really great with toddlers and up but if you have an infant find other child are! I'd pop in randomly on my lunch break from school to check on him and the toddlers (who were suppose to be separated) were always trying to touch him or lean on him for balance (my son was 4 months old so a 2 year old leaning on him is not ok with me). And when I'd pick him up, almost every time without fail, a teacher would say "I was just about to change him". I quickly realized they probably weren't changing him often enough once I saw how many diapers he had. Another thing I notice was one toddler ALWAYS had a snotty nose, like thick green "I'm sick" snot hanging out, which happens I understand. Kids gets sick, it's life. BUT my issue was that multiple times, I witness him just walk around with it hanging out and not one teacher wiped his nose UNTIL his mom was going to pick him up. I heard "lets clean you up your mom will be here soon." So it looks to me like they re making things appear as they are not. The final straw. . .I picked him up one day to find him with some other baby's pacifier! And another sick baby was wrapped up in my son's blanket. I was livid. There are 4-6 babies and two teachers and you can't keep track of their belongings?! All my son's stuff was labeled with his name! He spend maybe two more days there until I could find other child care. The regular staff was great (weird to say after such a negative rant right?) I think the problem was the staff that gave breaks. But I have heard great things about older kids at the school not having problems. But again I recommend finding another child care if you have an infant. Oh! Last thing, my son seemed to only have "blow outs" at daycare. read more

We went here because we had a great experience at the one in Carmichael. They warned us that there were a lot of voucher students and I didn't think much of it. I think its great to have my child exposed to all socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures. The facility needs a good hard deep clean and paint job.I have never had anyone be so disrespectful to me about choices for my son than the lady at the front desk. Mind you all I wanted was for my son to not have juice, fruit cocktail, or the milk they serve. This woman did not have a degree in nutrition or even a certificate and she was pushing for my son to have juice so they could get paid for their government meal program. She treated me like absolute garbage. Sugar is sugar no matter what form it comes in and I don't want my son to be unhealthy and as a parent that is my choice and should be respected. Then we had issues with my son always coming home hurt or being pushed or bit from the other kids in his class. I know this happens which normal kids do but not as aggressive as I had seen there. A lot of the kids come and their parents don't take care of them and their lack of attention at home came on to them taking it out on my son. They raise the tuition while the other kids going for free or at a discount are pushing my son around and even sometimes show up to daycare with his clothes on. I am so disgusted that I trusted the Phoenix Schools and that I had my son in this daycare for as long as we did. Ghetto may not be socially acceptable but that is what it is and it sucks because I know there are a few teachers that really did care about my son. read more

I had talked to woman on the phone about some general information about the school. We went over my daughters age group and I was assured that there was openings available. she made me an appointment about the next step in getting my daughter enrolled I as well received an email confirmation about the appointment. i informed the front desk that I had an appointment and she asked me to wait so she could finish up what she was doing. a good 15 mins later she finishes up and in that moment looks up at me and says they have no openings available. after that she asks my daughters age and without looking up anything says that there's actually a waiting list. So I made an appointment to watch a secretary staple papers and tell me that my daughter cannot attended the school. COMPLETELY! wasted my time this entire experience was unnecessary! unprofessional! and the information provided was completely miss informing! read more
