One cool thing is that they have a shelf full of canned beer loosies that you can pick and choose to make your own six-pack. A lot of the beers are local to Michigan or the Midwest, which is neat. I love that this store focuses on local things, even with their beverages. There aren't too many stores on Main Street where you can get a bottle of wine or beers to go, but this is one place. When I visited, beer and wine was 25% off! Yay for discount alcohol. Little Luxuries would be a great place to stop in and find a souvenir to take home. They have so many Mackinac Island-related things in the store, so you're bound to find a nice little tchotchke or memento to bring home to remember your time on the island.

I bought 2 lotions made by "Twisted Tomboy". The lavender and vanilla scent smelled clean and fresh and not over powering. I also bought a birthday card. Would recommend. Little Luxuries was the larger of the two stores. They sold a lot of great smelling soaps, lotions, and other body products. There were sweat shirts, a few Christmas ornaments, tote bags and a slew of other interesting souvenirs and gifts. I came out with 2 very small hand lotions made by Lollia. They were the "At Last" fragrance which is unfortunately being discontinued.  Would definitely come again.

I was shopping with my mom, son, and daughter when the cashier stared at my children the entire time we were in the store, which already made us uncomfortable. When I went to check out, the cashier commented that my daughter was holding a sticker -- which is something completely normal for a child to do while browsing. I was fully aware she had it, and my mom was planning to purchase it for her so she could gift it to her auntie. The comment was unnecessary, rude, and embarrassing. My daughter heard it too, and it made her cry. I've never had an unpleasant experience here before, but the way we were treated today was enough to make sure we won't be returning.

The workers that I encountered at Mackinac Wheels Bike Store were super helpful and kind…read more They explained the whole process to me about how it works to rent bikes with them. I was not sure at first what to do since I was not sure how long I was going to be renting the bike for. They explained that you do not need to know how long you want to rent for it is all about when you come back. They asked additional questions like what routes did we plan on biking on the island. They can give you a different bike based on it you want to bike the hills in the center of the island or if you are going to just be biking around town or around the island. They also added on a basket complimentary! They have a tire pump if your tires get low and if anything goes wrong with your bike while you are renting from them you can give them a call and they will come to you. I definitely would recommend coming over here to rent a bike if it is close to where you are staying.

He allowed her to try on a pair of sandals and then we went back together and bought several pairs. My daughter mentioned one of the older women working told her not to touch anything but I wasn't there to witness that. Peter was great and very chatty.

I love my Birkenstocks and was looking at purchasing a pair on the island, but no one greeted me at all in the store. I was then asked rudely to put a sock on when I wasn't even trying the shoes on yet! No one had even helped me! I was simply looking at one of the display shoes and picked the shoe up in my hand when a worker came over and said I needed to put a sock on. The worker hadn't even helped me or greeted me yet! How could I try on the shoes when no one was helping me to get the right size or color? So I was out the door fast and won't be back! What is it with decent shoe stores and stuck up snotty workers? Most of them are women in their 50's and 60's that need to get their expensive prissy shoes out of their butt.
