We enjoyed our 7 day stay at Caddo Drive Campground, but I wouldn't make the drive from Texas again just to stay at the park. There was nothing bad about the park, it just wasn't anything extra special. The swimming area was VERY small, that was our biggest complaint. The water in the swimming area was very warm and only somewhat clear. If we had rented a boat and gone tubing, I'm sure we could have found clearer, cooler water, but we weren't looking to spend the money this time. The park was beautiful, lots of tall trees helped keep the camper cool. It was not crowded, in fact we were by ourselves on one end of the loop, which we really enjoyed. They offer back-in and pull through trailer spots (ours was pull through), as well as tent pads, and all sites included a nice woodsy area with a picnic table and fire ring. We knew that there are no sewer hook ups on site, but did not know that there are no water hook ups. There is a fresh water station to fill your tank on the way in though. The bathrooms were not the best. There is no air, fans or even windows to circulate air, making it extremely hot when drying off from a shower. The price was great at $14 per night and the staff was friendly. There are restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores with in a 20 minute drive. read more
