In Los Angeles a salon pasta would come with little salmon pieces. Here the pasta came with 2 generous sizes of salmon and it was so good! The pizzas were amazing and large size. Made in a classic clay-like pizza oven, the dough was tasty and ingredients were fresh. We all left extremely full. Prices were low to me for what we got plus beer our bill was cheap. If you're in Köln and looking for a nice night out for Italian food then come here. Been around Köln for 5 weeks and this was the best restaurant here. I suggest making reservations ahead of time. Someone else said it on here so I did it. It was full the whole night. It's worth it to come here!

Yelp really let me down with this restaurant. We were in Aachen on vacation and looking for a place…read morefor dinner and the reviews led us to this place. The food was OK, definitely nothing special. But the service was an absolute joke. The servers just stood around and talk to each other, right next to our table sometimes, instead of doing any of their work. We ordered drinks and watch them chat about the weather and about a new grocery store in town for more than five minutes, right next to our table. Then one of them turned to the bar, which was just a couple feet away, and finally poured our drinks. And, in a first for me in Germany, the beers were poured about an inch short of the legal measuring line. (beers in Germany have to be poured up to the mark that matches the size such as .3L, etc) I thought that was illegal? The decor is cheesy, kind of like a Pizza Hut. This place is highly un-recommended. (Though it did seem popular with over-70 set.)

The service was okay and they were quick to replace the dirty flatware. The weather was nice and the chairs were comfy enough, but there were lots of flies around. Once the food arrived it looked good and was plenty warm. My bf and I both ordered pizza. I ordered tuna pizza which lacked flavor. I thought the crust was a little too doughy and I could've done without the flies and the free hair I found on my food! Overall, looks good, maybe trying eating inside if the flies would bother you.
