Leading up to our initial appointment with Shannon, Shannon sent us an email detailing all of the items that we would need for our pre-approval. When we arrived at the VITEK office, Shannon immediately welcomed us into her office. Before diving into the home loan process, Shannon inquired about the areas that we would prefer to live in, and our ideal mortgage payment. Next, she patiently walked us through the home loan process from beginning to end. After hearing the process and having all of our questions answered, we decided to move forward with the pre-approval. Once we received approval, Shannon began explaining the various loan options that we could opt for. She patiently played the "fun" numbers game that would eventually assist us in determining our monthly mortgage payment (home amount, down payment, loan longevity, interest rate). Shannon would eventually arrive at numbers that satisfied my wife and I. That evening we left Shannon's office confident that we would find a home that we could comfortably (keyword) afford. Once our amazing Realtor was able to assist us in finding our home, the loan process kicked into overdrive.
