I was referred to Mairin by the agent who sold my home in the Bay Area. He described her as "the best," and he was absolutely right! I was searching for a duplex in Sacramento and had very specific criteria: side-by-side units, strong rental potential, and a great neighborhood. I knew exactly what I wanted, but I knew very little about Sacramento. Mairin was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process. She showed me several properties, helped me understand the different neighborhoods, and guided me through an unfamiliar market with confidence and ease. She was also incredibly generous with her local knowledge and always willing to share her trusted resources and connections, which proved invaluable as someone new to the area. When I finally found the right property, she skillfully negotiated a fantastic deal on my behalf. Mairin truly knows her business, and it's clear that her clients' best interests are always her top priority. I couldn't have asked for a better agent and would recommend her without hesitation. I wish her much continued success! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mairin! We recently closed on our first home and she made the process very smooth and kept us informed every step of the way. We chose her after meeting with multiple realtors because she was very transparent and outlined the home buying process step by step. It was a yearlong search and Mairin was always available and very responsive, taking us on tours until we found the one. Ultimately, we were the winning bid in large part due to her previous connection with the seller's agent. In the real estate business, relationships are everything! Will definitely be working with her again in the future. read more

I am so happy we found Mairin! She recently helped my family sell a home that had a lot of deferred maintenance- she had contacts for the repairs, was able to quickly coordinate the work and make our old house look fresh and alive again! AND she has a deep knowledge of the market and its trends! We sold the home in under a week in the market!!! I highly recommend Mairin to anyone in the housing market! read more

I'm so grateful to have had Mairin Haley as my realtor! I whole-heartedly recommend her for any and all of your Sacramento/Bay Area real estate needs. She is the broker you've been looking for. After speaking to a handful of real estate agents in the Sacramento area, I had plenty of choices, many in-bound, with solid credentials, experience, and track records. (I'm out-of-state so I didn't know anyone locally in the area to cross-check for a reliable reference. I was left to search the web "blindly" for a trustworthy agent.) I searched and put out several internet inquiries into automated forms, one of which was to MAIRIN HALEY of COMPASS. She called me back immediately. Mairin was warm, up-beat, professional, decorated, and reassuring. Mairin didn't just respond to my situation, her willingness ignited. I was feeling stressed living thousands of miles away from the property and Mairin hit the ground running for me. Intelligent and clear with communications that cut through industry complexities, a keen negotiator, and financially sharp on every detail of tedious contracts. I couldn't have done it without her. Mairin was a great team player with my attorney and my family throughout the whole process and, what's more, she also has a knack for the nuance and soft touches of selling a home, like fresh staging style to attract buyers in your market and a thoughtful approach to showing the home. For me personally, Mairin was the perfect blend of empathy and energy in the wake of having to sell a home in a probate situation after the loss of a loved one. She truly went above and beyond, exhibiting a level of heart, kindness, and care that I could not have expected from a real estate agent I had never met. We sold the property in less than a week and closed above the asking price. FIVE STARS for Mairin Haley. read more

Mairin is wonderful to work with! We had the best experience with her buying our home in Roseville while selling our previous home at the same time in the Bay Area with a different agent. We were having a horrible experience with the other agent, and Mairin stepped multiple times to help get us information on the sale and reassure us that things were progressing. Mairin is so communicative, always available for questions and very transparent with every part of the home search and buying process. When we found our new home, she was so on top of everything, the offer and escrow period was so smooth and painless. Thank you for everything Mairin! read more

Mairin was amazing to work with for the sale of our home! She is responsive, kind, calm, intelligent, a great communicator, and has an eye for detail. Our home needed several kinds of repairs, interior and exterior painting, and staging. Mairin was so on top of organizing the timeline for every aspect of the repairs and sale. She followed through on everything in a timely manner, and managed the details in a way that made the experience for me as a seller a breeze! I would work with her again in a heartbeat. Working with Mairin to sell our home was the easiest decision in our moving process! She was so thoughtful and understanding. She went above and beyond to stage, offer changes that would help the value, and also be a therapist as we moved through it all. She was so knowledgeable and handled herself with such grace! She is a 10/10 no doubt!!! read more

Mairin absolutely killed it with our first home purchase. This process was entirely new to me and my husband but she walked us through it with only a helping hand and no judgement for our lack of knowledge. She was always available for our questions and was super quick with effectuating our offer. Not only was she helpful, knowledgeable, and always on top of it, she helped us with finding our lender; she introduced us to someone who could be trusted and was working with her to get us our home. She also made it possible for us to close early - we had the keys in hand in about three weeks, which was a crazy timeline and we did it without waiving any inspections or contingencies, but she made it happen like it was nothing. My family will only ever go through her moving forward, we wouldn't trust anyone else. read more

Mairin was great to work with. It made selling our property so easy! She arranged for several painting bids for the interior and exterior, as well as yard clean-up and staging. The house was refreshed and on the market in less than a month! Mairin did everything she said she would and in the tine feame that she had estimated. And she was always available to answer our questions. It was a true pleasure to work with Mairin! read more

Mairin was so great to work with! She was patient with us with figuring out what we wanted - from being downtown, moving to the suburbs, or buying a multiunit property. When we finally figured out what we wanted and found the perfect house, we got the house the day after looking at it. Closing took longer as expected with the bank doing their due diligence but it was crazy how fast everything happened. We were in our new house within a few weeks of initially seeing the listing! She knows all the good people in the area has great connections as well. The lender she recommended was able to lock in a great interest rate before it shot up. read more

Mairin was great in navigating our house buying process. We saw many houses and finally found our dream home. As a first time home buyer, I had so many questions and Mairin answered them at any time of the day. She was very responsive at every step of the way. When I needed to sell a family home from across the country, I sought a referral from a realtor friend with whom I'd worked twice before. He assured me that Mairin Haley would treat me as well as he did - he was absolutely correct. Mairin is an expert on real estate in the Sacramento area. She was patient with me as I managed all that comes with emptying out a family home, and went the extra mile to keep things moving when I could not be there in person. Much to my surprise, the home sold quickly, with minimal investment. I credit Mairin for knowing the market and a network of local resources. Thank you Mairin! read more

Super savvy about the Sacramento market and has a whole host of resources to make transactions smooth. Strongly recommend Mairin. She prioritizes building strong community relationships with vendors and lenders to ensure that her buyers are covered from offer to close. Not only do we have good things to say, everyone we met along our buying journey echoed these sentiments. If you're buying or selling, and want someone who knows and loves her community and will bring that care to your process, Mairin is it. read more

My family finally decided to sell our mom & dad's multi-family home in mid-town. We interviewed several realtors. Mairin, by far, impressed us with her knowledge of the market and her attitude towards our needs. She really contributed so much as a realtor. The home had not been substantially improved since the 1970's when my parents built it. We had to make interior and exterior improvements. She helped us with contractor selection, project management, and pretty much shepherded us through the entire process (the sherpa of our selling experience!). We cut it close--starting the cleanup in Feb/March of 2022, closing in July, just before the market started to drop. Best of all, we got our list price! All of this wouldn't have been possible without Mairin. She worked diligently, kept in contact with us on a regular basis (we're no longer in Sacramento), and was a pleasure to work with. If you need a realtor for Sacramento and want to work with someone with a high level of integrity and knowledge, please consider Mairin. read more

Mairin was a fantastic partner in every possible way during our process of buying a home. She was always responsive, offered great advice, and we truly valued her opinion throughout the process. I cannot say enough good things about Mairin! As first time homebuyers - who lived out of town - she made the whole process easy for us from start to finish. Mairin was a wonderful real estate agent to work with. We greatly appreciated her realism and down-to-earth approach--instead of simply trying to make a sale, she was very honest about whether or not the property would be the right fit for our family. She is also very responsive--even though we've been in our new home for a month, she is still helpful in answering questions and making sure we are able to communicate with the former owners when the need arises. Thank you, Mairin! read more

Mairin is phenomenal! She's helped me find the perfect home and was crucial to me getting it in a very challenging market. I'm so grateful to have you as my realtor. Thank you so much for the hard work! read more

When I lost my dad and had to sell the family home where I was born and raised, I asked Mairin to take the listing. I imagine it's difficult enough to deal with sellers, but when you have to negotiate the emotion of someone who lost a parent, I'm surprised most any realtor would want the job. Mairin excepted willingly and through the whole process was amazingly positive. Not only did she do a wonderful job for me but she had to please my friend ( a Los Angeles Realtor) who first chose Mairin after looking at several Sacramento realtors. So Mairin has the respect not only of her clients but also of her peers both in Sacramento and in SoCal! I would not hesitate to recommend Mairin to anyone and I consider her a silver lining to the cloud of loss that I was experiencing at the same time. read more

Mairin helped us sell our duplex in the Sierra Foothills in 2023 and she was fantastic! Mairin is amazing and the best real estate agent ever! My husband and I recently brought our first house in Sacramento. We were unfamiliar with the area and found Mairin on Yelp. Her knowledge of the area and the market was impressive. She guided us through the entire process from the initial property viewing to taking our picture when we finally received our keys. She has an extensive network of resources and vendors that she worked hand in hand with to ensure that all of our bases were covered. The home buying process on its own can be daunting let alone in this market, during a pandemic, and for the first time. Mairin was the perfect person to guide us through finding our home. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and market, was responsive, open and honest with us along the way, and advocated fairly for us. I with no reservation recommend Mairin as your real estate agent. My first phone appointment with Mairin went extremely well. She asked me if I minded telling her a little about what brought me to looking for a home and I explained, that I had lost my husband who was only 49 to a sudden heart attack two years prior, his life insurance was denied, my daughter and I lost everything. I also relayed that I just recently I won a settlement against the life insurance company/my husbands company and I am now in a position to purchase a home. She was genuinely compassionate regarding the situation. I relayed all the areas in Sacramento that I was interested in and she was extremely knowledgeable of Sacramento. The current real estate market was EXTREMELY competitive and Mairin was always available to accommodate me in order to view/visit any property I was interested in as quickly as possible. She eventually helped me to buy a property that I am very happy with. She has gone above and beyond with regards to my needs and concerns. She was in constant communication with my lender in order to keep things on track so that I could close in a timely manner. Mairin is personable and very easy to work with. She truly cares and takes pride in ensuring that each of her clients have an excellent home buying experience. I will never forget standing in my new kitchen and her saying ok lets go over what you had on your wishlist...she read it off...Mairin nailed it! I will also never forget meeting her to get the keys and her giving me a most heartfelt gift...see attached photo. This meant so much to me and my daughter that I just had to share. Mairin is not only an EXCELLENT realtor, she is an amazing person. I can't thank her enough for all the professionalism and heart she put into making sure I had an absolute amazing home buying experience. read more

I highly recommend Mairin as your real estate agent! I interviewed 10 real estate agents in SF/Sacramento area before deciding on working with Mairin. She stood out as a thorough thinker and an excellent communicator. She surely delivered the service I expected. She has been professional and supportive throughout the few months I have worked with her. She eventually helped me to buy a property I really like. She has gone above and beyond for my needs and I feel very lucky to have worked with her. Initially, I discussed with her about my preferences for property search in the Sacramento area and she helped me to narrow down the scope quickly. The first property I was interested in looked fine but turned out to have major repair issues. Mairin was very resourceful and patient in helping me to conduct additional inspections. I decided to move on from this property because of major repair issues with the roof. Throughout the search process, Mairin helped visit the property multiple times when I was not available. She also helped schedule in-person visits for me. I eventually found a property that I like after additional visits facilitated by Mairin. The closing process for this property was intense. Mairin was well-experienced in project management and was able to make the experience smooth. Importantly, she helped me to negotiate with the buyer to get a really good price for the property with some credits. Aside from her professionalism and exceptional ability, Mairin is a delightful person to work with. I have enjoyed knowing her a lot and would work with her again for my future property purchase. read more
