He reached out the night before to confirm everything. He showed up right on time and got straight to work. They were incredibly thorough: deep cleaning of interiors (all that pet hair gone!), meticulous exterior wash removing every bug and layer of grime, and the cars came out immaculate--like brand new. Rob brought his 16 year old son with him for training purposes. They did do a spectacular job on the 4Runner, but did take them from 8 am until 3 pm. However they worked on GMC Sierra intermittently throughout the day and failed to complete in full, Rob claimed it was complete at 6:30 pm, it was dark so dificult to inspect the quality of the detail job, floormats where not installed, left in the bed of the truck. Upon inspection the next morning, found that the windows had streaking inside and out, failed to clean/vacuum the insides of the interior counsels, as if neither were even opened, both gloveboxes were not cleaned either. At a cost of $200.00 per Vehicle I had higher expectations, when Icalculate the hourly rate, it was $38.00 per hour for the detailing, seems a bit steep for a mobile car detailing service in my opinion. Obviously that the training of a 16 year old was a deterant in performance and quality of the job done. Do I recommend Rob's Auto Detail? It's a 3.5 star out of 5 stars.
