The little girl in me asked me to leave a review, so here I am. Feeling a little nostalgic considering my first year attending this school was over 16 years ago. I still remember every single one of my teachers by name and what grade they taught me in. I remember the outfit I wore for school pictures (the same outfit two years in a row too). I don't know if any of my old teachers still work there. I know my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Bartlett got married when I was in the fourth grade. My third grade teacher Mr. Farley had the nickname "Smiley" for me because every time he saw me I had a big smile on my face. I wonder if it's okay if I name drop them. I hope they're doing well. I remember how one of the fourth graders used to come and push the kindergarteners on the swings; some times it felt like I could jump off and land over the fence.
I don't know why I'm writing this. If any of my old teachers see this and remember me the way I do them, I'm in college now. I'm 21, I'm majoring in opera performance, and one day in our lifetimes I'll perform at the Met.
I wonder if they always knew I would grow up to sing; they probably knew well before I did.
My sister and I had the same kindergarten teacher; she's graduating high school at the end of the year now.
Anyways, I suppose this wasn't a review, and more of a moment for me to reminisce on being a little kid again. Good school though.
I miss elementary school
