They were accommodating, courteous, on-time, and professional. My work was completed when I needed it to be. But I was especially impressed by their communication. They answered their phone when I called, which I have come to learn is sometimes rare with handyman services, and communicated with me throughout the repairs, as I was out of state at the time. They sent pictures and messages to keep me apprised of repairs. Excellent customer service!

He did contact me July 2, but I was very ill and could not get back with him until July 17, at which time I asked for his services. However, 24 hours later, he still had not gotten back to me. I texted, " Never mind...apparently you aren't interested". His reply, "Ok. I've been working. Because I didn't reply in a 3 hour window that means I. Not interested. Have a good day". All I can say is this is not a professional company. To think it is okay to respond sarcastically to a prospective client is just ludicrous. He is a hothead that likes to jerk you around. I would stay far away from this company. And after telling him to check his reviews... he stated, "You'll write a.review for services not rendered. Typical Karen".

Most homeowners are concerned about the paint being scuffed or scratched floors, but these guys were so careful with everything! The best part, the value for work. Glad I went with them!

We hired R & L Home Solutions LLC for residential home improvement work in Knox County under a…read morewritten contract totaling approximately $15,000. The work was not completed as agreed, and the contractor ended work before the full scope was finished, requiring us to engage replacement services. During the project, property damage occurred, resulting in delays and additional repair work. Formal invoices were never provided. Despite multiple written requests, the company failed to supply itemized billing, receipts, proof of licensing, or other documentation relevant to the project. Payment demands continued while the account was in active dispute and before requested documentation was produced. Certified mail sent to the business's last known address was returned as undeliverable due to an expired forwarding order, and the company did not provide an updated service address despite repeated requests. Written requests for clarification and documentation were often unanswered or only partially addressed, and the explanations for claimed charges changed over time without supporting records. Based on our documented cost analysis, we have already paid more than the value of work completed. This review is shared to reflect our experience and to encourage others to carefully verify documentation, licensing, and billing practices before hiring.

Great follow up questions to ensure that the quote was accurate. Randy showed up right on time and was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He was honest about the efforts needed for certain projects and took photos for future project estimates. He completed our three small projects in half the time estimated, which greatly reduced our costs as well. It was affordable and we felt he was trustworthy and very competent. I am highly likely to both recommend Ace Handyman and request Randy for future larger projects. They stay tuned for an update if we have them close off a room for us and redo/tile our master shower.

He was polite and seemed knowledgeable, but it took him over 5 hours to do a 1-hour job, and the result was very poor. He disregarded the printed instructions I provided, cut one of the trim pieces too short, and installed the door closure too high, so that there are screws protruding through the door. As a result, I have had to purchase a new trim piece and pay another installer to correct his work. But the thing that I find most disheartening about the experience is that I contacted Ace before posting this review to give them a chance to make it right, and they have not responded. I will not do business with them again.

He sent an "electrician" with no licence and 2 teenagers to rewire our house. They were also supposed to remodel our bathroom, although the crew they sent had NO PLUMBING EXPERIENCE. The guy in charge of our job would come in the morning for half an hour and then leave all of the work to the teenagers. We had holes in our walls, outlets put in upside down, wires that stayed hot constantly, and multiple power issues even though they were supposed to replace the entire panel. They cut the power to our dishwasher completely and never said a word to us. As far as the bathroom, we went for over two weeks without a sink. They sent a guy out to do the tile who ended up asking us for gas money to get home. The toilet was not sealed and leaked everywhere. The bathtub drain was not connected properly and water continues to run underneath our home. We asked for steps coming off of our porch so our dogs could go outside.
