We said no cause we didn't know we needed one to have a question or 2 answered. And there were no signs anywhere saying you needed an appointment to talk with someone. Would have been nice to have been at least greeted as we walked in and kinda given this info.

A comment on Kate's review - I don't understand why anyone would think that a credit of a specific discount type ($400 off delivery) could be applied to some other part of a order. If the $250 delivery fee that was negotiated (instead of a usual $400 fee) and was paid and then refunded, there is no $150 to apply somewhere else. The store's position on this makes sense to me.

Our sales guy arrived at 5 PM and…read moreinsisted on both myself and my husband sitting down for the meeting, which was a huge pain considering we have an 18-month old in the home. But whatever. Most of these estimate appointments don't take longer than 45 minutes, right? Wrong. We sat through 3 hours of the sales rep asking me irrelevant questions (why do they care how much I pay in oil??), showing a slideshow about the company, and painstakingly trying to take measurements, even though I am pretty sure they were incorrect as his tape measure was crooked. He was nice enough, but I lose a lot of confidence in a company that sends a rep that knows less about windows and their warranties than I do. When it finally came to the estimate, the price was about equal to a similar quote from Andersen. However, if I ordered "today", they would happily cut the price by about $4k. I get it, it's a sales tactic. Make the customer think they are getting a deal. So after the "deal", it was around $15k for 9 standard window replacements. For those of you that are wondering, that's almost $1700 a window. When I firmly stated that I do not make decisions that way and would need to review their estimate with the others I had received, the sales guy sat at my kitchen table for another half hour trying to "figure out" how to email me the information, and, in the meantime, got his supervisor on the phone, who wanted to "save me a ton" right then and there. Now I'm sensing a scam. So how inflated was your original price, exactly? Then, before he left, the sales rep tried again to get me to buy the windows. At this point, it's 8 PM. He sees us cooking dinner and putting our daughter to bed, and somehow find this a reasonable length of time to be in someone's home. From the 6 estimates I received, not a single one took this long or was this high pressure. I also never got the estimate emailed to me. I will say, the OKNA windows seem like a quality window. However, I really don't appreciate the way this company tries to force them on you. And 16-weeks lead time for install? Insane. Save your time, shop elsewhere.

I never contacted this company. I never signed up for anything. I never gave them permission to reach out to me. Yet they keep calling and texting like we have some kind of business relationship. Even after I showed no interest, the messages kept coming. It feels intrusive and honestly pretty shady. If this is how they generate business -- by buying contact lists and repeatedly contacting people who never asked to hear from them -- that says a lot. Very frustrating experience. I would strongly caution anyone about how this company operates.

The final time he set foot on my property he had dropped off tile that I had purchased but he did no work to the project. I later discovered he stole 2 boxes of that tile. Look elsewhere for a contractor!
