We booked Chris from A to Z after having hired a guy "that was supposed to be from our…read moreneighborhood" who said he just moved here and was starting a business. He gave us a good deal, but once he realized he didn't have the skill to paint our house he quit, so we reached out to A to Z.. Chris came out and just couldn't stop bragging about how he was from California, and was on the news and was set on "teaching these fly by night painters a lesson." Chris walked our house and gave us a decent estimate. We asked if he did basic repairs? He said yes he did little stuff, and I said awesome. So we wrote up the paperwork and I gave him $500 cash. My wife texted him a couple days later and just had a few questions about the paint. Chris then told her he was canceling the job. I then texted him to ask if I could come pick up our deposit "fearing he was scamming us!" He responded with "checks in the mail." And his reason for canceling was "we were too bothersome with pics and texts." This is from 2 texts mind you and a call! He then proceeded to bombard myself and my wife's phones with texts!!! Saying we were too troublesome, and continuing to reiterate that he thought the job was going to be too much of a hassle. I have screen shots over 5 texts to me "way more than he got." I told him the only thing I wanted was a refund. He responded with "Check is in the mail, don't harass me or I will put a hold on it, and I have contacted the authorities..."WTH? He then sent our check with a letter "which I have" basically saying we are too much trouble and our house isn't a mansion." Absolutely unprofessional and would never recommend. All of this could have been avoided had he just said "Sorry I'm unable to take this job; your deposit has been mailed."

His prices were great to begin with but what really impressed me is that he came way under the bid in time and cost (he had great discounts for the LVP) and actually gave me part of that discount as well, never had a contractor do that before. I can't believe how beautiful the floors look and I'm glad he encouraged me to do more then I originally thought to do. I plan to hire him again in the future for my vinyl siding, I wouldn't hesitate to have them give you a quote, you wont regret hiring them.

We had to sell our house there and at the same time were trying to buy one here. He worked with us throughout the process and made it happen. Anything that ever came up (which was slim to nil) with the house was dealt with in an orderly fashion by Jeff either personally or he directed the completion. Five stars for Jeff, because he earned it the old fashioned way. I'd highly recommend Fahrlander Custom Homes for YOUR next build or if your in the market for a pre built house, like we were, it's never a bad way to go.

I live alone and kitchen does not get that much use. There is no way the calk should look like this already. They make up one excuse after another and do not stand behind their work.I will post on FB and tell everyone I know how lousy they treat customers even when it was their own fault for not using correct calk.My old kitchen did not look this bad.
