RUN AWAY FROM this company. I have been waiting over 3 months for my countertops so far. Every time I call I am told expect a call next week for this next step (currently in fabrication and now this is the third week I am being told to expect a call to schedule this week or next. Not one time have I received even so much as an apology. It is obvious to me they do not care one bit how long it takes or that they lie repeatedly. I will never ever EVER use this company again. I was told it takes 4 days in production initially. I am in week 3 of production. All I am told is expect a call when it's done. Beyond aggravating. I would caution working with Cabinet Express as they refused to accept responsibility for damage they caused and they displayed a great deal of negligence and unprofessionalism, leaving me to repair our cabinets out of pocket. Cabinet Express was our countertop subcontractor through Home Depot and they also disconnected our plumbing. When the installers disconnected the plumbing, they left the supply lines partially open and didn't leave the ends in a container, resulting in water seeping throughout our cabinets, saturating the wood in the base and leaving water marks on the wooden dividers. I put the ends in a bucket when I discovered this. I brought this up to CE and they mentioned that they prefer to avoid doing any plumbing services for this reason and they promised to "make this right" by repairing the base of the cabinets. A few days later, CE sent out a technician, who was shocked at the level of damage, implying that there must be some other leak at the shutoff valves to have caused that much damage. He said we needed to cut out the base, repair the leak, and dry everything out before they could repair it. Prior to this, we had had a plumber reconnect the new sink and he didn't mention any such leak at the shutoff valves. Because of this, I was fairly confident the source of the water was the open, previously uncontained supply line, but I decided I would tear out the cabinet base as they suggested just to be sure, buying about $100 in tools to do so. As expected, the surface below the base of the cabinets was dry and there was no leak at the shutoff valves. This confirmed the source of the water was the open, previously uncontained supply line. At this point, I thought it would be prudent to get other parties involved, protecting ourselves in the case that CE didn't follow through. Home Depot initiated a claim, which went to their third party claims group, Sedgwick. I gave them a summary with pictures of the damage. CE responded that they were notified of a claim, and they needed to respond to this before any other action. Unsurprisingly, cabinet Express denied the claim, stating: "when we did the install, the shut off valves were not leaking. The installer did notice that the cabinet had existing water damage. We sent a technician back on 5/27/25 to assess. This technician stated that the plumbing had an existing leak unrelated to the disconnection completed by Cabinet Express." In other words, they are claiming they decided to proceed with the install on rotted cabinets? (False, as it wasn't damaged until after they came). Frustratingly, Sedgwick (Home Depot's third party claim organization, stated the following: "It appears that the installer is denying your claim citing the reason for the leak was not related to the installation. Please note that at this time we are inclined to agree with them based on the photos they provided and based on their statements that when they inspected, the leak was coming from the pipe and was not related to their disconnect. Unfortunately at this time we cannot provide any coverage for the interior damages. If you have any proofs to show the service provider that they were at fault for the damages, please respond to their email where they sent you this letter and you can discuss/dispute the denial with them directly." I responded to each party, cleatly pointing out the false statements in the denial letter, to which I received no response. The most ridiculous part is the "photos" Sedgwick mentioned was a photo taken by me (post damage). CE presented my photo of the damage to Sedgwick, falsely asserting that it was a photo they had taken prior to the install. The third party (Sedgwick) was completely trivial in this case, as they only referred me to deal directly with CE; and they were in no way neutral or unbiased in their assessment. A further indication of CE's negligence is that they disposed of necessary parts to our garbage disposal when they removed the old sink. CE never acknowledged nor responded to this either. read more

DO NOT USE THEM FOR COUNTERTOPS. They do not allow you to view or have input on seam placement despite the contract stating otherwise. They put an obvious seam in the middle of my countertops right at the viewpoint of anyone sitting at the bar (see photos). They claim this looks "beautiful" and perfect despite the fact that the pattern of quartz goes from horizontal to vertical at their seam. The contract claims you will have a seam at corners and runs of 8 feet or more, but this seam is at 4 feet from the edge. Not to mention they never had me sign off on the final product despite me being home and are claiming that I had to be present at the construction site during the entirety of the install and completion and it's "not their job to come get me when they're done." They refuse to redo things and now either have to live with a horrible product or pay thousands of dollars to have another company redo it all. read more

Don't use them!! If I could do no stars I would!! They started September 2020!!! Still not finished!! They've messed up the window seal, all the trim and are trying to charge us! This review is for the 1089 Gregory Drive Gallatin, Tennessee business The product (countertop) was very nice with good workmanship and installed correctly the install team was very professional. When the install time was setup the company attempted to force a time of their choosing on us to install it took several phone call to their office to get this straighten out over a period of a month. After the third call to them it was straightened out and the day of the week I needed, the install as excepted by the company . After several months we had a miner problem was found in the countertop was found. when the company was contacted it took almost 2 months to get it corrected. Summary: They company's countertops are very well made and installed correctly. but there management team has a serious customer service problem. read more

I say run from them. The first time they came with the counter tops they were not what I ordered and the edge was not either. They took them back and installed them with an edge I did not order. After they left we looked at the counter top and there is about an inch gap between the counter top and the wall. The counter top also extends over the door frame. Awful, awful, awful. And another word of advice don't ever order through Lowe's. It would take me too long to tell all the things they did wrong. Now I am fighting to get this stuff removed and my money back. read more

This has by far been our worst experience to date with our remodel. Cabinets were delivered over two weeks ago. Installed the next two days, but were not finished. No one has been back to finish them. We've been told that they have to get us on their schedule. What?! We were already on your schedule. We have garbage everywhere that was left, the vent hood insert wasn't even ordered, and electrical cannot be finished until cabinets are finished. I have all new appliances being delivered in two days, and they will not be able to hooked up. With the amount of money that we spent, one would think that a company would go above and beyond. That is absolutely not the case with Cabinet Express. I'm not even sure how this company even stays in business! read more

We were directed to Cabinet Express in Gallatin TN, via Home Depot. We previously had done kitchen counter tops with HD & through another company and had a good experience. However this company has been a nightmare. Missed communications, multiple contacts, absent instructions, etc. As an example- we were waiting on the company to call us to look at the quarts- which we paid for via HD. Full cost- up front- in cash- instead after hearing nothing from them, called them and they act as though it is OUR fault: "Oh yeah, you have to go to yet another place and another company to select the stone- we are just the fabricators. We don't STOCK the stone here." That would have been good to know a week ago. We asked to see the template where the stone would be cut as we selected a particular stone based on the patterns we liked. "Oh we normally don't do that. You get what you get." No! I don't think so. Currently it has been a month that we have been without vanity tops/ sinks. There have been at least 4 issues and numerous missed communications. I would never use this company again and would steer clear of them. read more

I had previously posted a less than raving review about this company, but since then I have discovered that it is not the fault of this company, but the problems have been because of my General Contractor. heI recently spoke with the owner of this company, and he has explained the situation to me, and is doing everything he can to help me. The absolute worse in keeping you posted about what is going on and will take months! Have to call them every week to keep the process moving and call various times during the day to finally reach the right person! They will not call you back. The week of 4th of July the cabinets were in (thankfully by another company) and granite was already cut and ready to install. Took 2 weeks to get a template. Then a week for someone to look at it. Then a week of calling to talk to someone who could tell me abou it. It is August 3rd now and still haven't heard about an install date. Just frustrating when you don't have a kitchen sink and are literally in the dark about when you might be getting one. It is now the weekend so I guess another week waiting to be contacted? Just ridiculous! Ordered through Lowe's and they were fast and amazing people to work with. But as soon as Cabinet Express took over the project it has been nothing but talking to rude people and stressful. Not what you want to get yourself into! So if ordering from Lowe's pick a granite the isn't through Cabinet Express unless you have a few months before you want it. Just my advice! read more
