So relieved/glad I hired Ralph Cabal. He is incredible! First, the entire scheduling process was seamless. Available on the date needed? Yep. Easy to schedule the appointment? A breeze. The day of the inspection, Ralph was there early, walking around and familiarizing himself. And I cannot stress enough what a joy Ralph is - he is gracious, polite, professional, friendly, witty, and really takes his time. His knowledge (about everything from termites to mold to foundations to types of plumbing) is unparalleled and, most importantly, he explains everything in ways that the client can understand. And, a rarity, Ralph is looking out not for himself and his bottom line, but for his clients. When he didn't think a particular test was necessary, he told me - saving me money (though he could've easily told me he recommended the test and earned the extra fee). This is a truly good and honest person. Most inspectors will tell yo,, "You should have me test for this, and this, and this" and make more $. But that's not Ralph. He's a testament to his craft and to the community. I feel sorry for anyone who uses another inspector bc, while they might be 'good enough,' I can't imagine anyone measuring up to Cabal Inspection Services. Thanks again, Ralph! read more

CIS, Inc. was thorough, prompt, professional and friendly. I will happily use them again for any inspection needs I have.

The inspection went great. From the beginning, Ralph thoroughly explained the process of the inspection and what he was going to be looking for. Ralph was very accommodating in allowing me to ask many questions, and he explained everything to me in a way I was able to understand. He promptly delivered the report to us within 24 hours. It was in depth and he was sure to take many photos of the property and issues identified. I would recommend Ralph to anyone and everyone. We appreciate his services and will certainly be using him again in the future. read more

Great service. Quick and thorough and extremely friendly. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Ralph and his team are friendly, efficient and professional. This is the second time I have used their services and Ralph is really a great guy. He is the type of person you wish every company had as an owner and in South Florida, that isn't always the case. Would not hesitate to use Cabal Inspections again and would recommend to anyone! read more

The owner, Ralph, took my call personally prior to the inspection. He arrived at the property on time and provided the report promptly. He explained his observations throughout the inspection. He was knowledgeable of the code as well as manufacturer protocols for safety. He gave a fair assessment of the property and not a "doom and gloom" report like some inspection reports read. His inspection comes with guarantee to buy the house under certain circumstances. His prices are reasonable and I would use his services again. read more

Seemed to lack a general grasp of modern construction, technology, appliances and their operation. Watching him fumble lost our confidence.

Ralph Cabal came highly recommended by my realtor here in Miami, when I arrived he was already on the roof, doing his inspection. He has a very thorough process and checked everything. Ralph was patient and walked me verbally through all the things he was finding (and more importantly, not finding). I will definitely be using Ralph again, highly recommended! read more

Of the many inspection companies recommended by our real estate broker, Ralph stood out immediately through having responded within minutes of my query; providing all the details necessary for me to choose his company; and communicating concisely, politely, and in carefully written language. In person he is similarly considerate and, most of all given his field, eminently attentive to detail. We will look no further the next time we require these services and will recommend Ralph Cabal widely. read more

I hired Ralph Cabal to perform our home inspection based on the recommendation of an engineer friend. Mr. Cabal performs all of the inspections. During the course of a 3+ hour inspection, he examined every aspect of the house we planned to purchase and took many pictures along the way. We have purchased several houses in the past, but this was by far the most thorough inspection I've ever seen. Mr. Cabal was also willing to have me follow along as he tested various things, pointing out deficiencies, and also providing helpful advice. A few days after the inspection was completed, I received a 20-page report providing details of the various components of the house, including things that worked properly in addition to things requiring repair. Pictures were also included in the report demonstrating the deficiences, making it easy to see and reducing confusion or disagreement with the seller. In summary, Cabal Inspections provide a thorough home inspection as well as a detailed summary with unmatched service at a reasonable price. UPDATE (July 2011): After a recent mandatory inspection of our house by Citizens Insurance, I was surprised to find many major discrepancies between the Citizens' inspector and Mr. Cabal. I contacted Mr. Cabal to get clarification and hopefully ammo to dispute the findings, but was simply informed 'there was nothing that we could do.' I continue to be impressed by Cabal's customer service, but I now wonder whether this was partly a rubber stamp on items that were assumed would never be checked. I suspect these practices were widespread and not unique to this company... read more

Ralph really is the inspector's, inspector! He is quite detailed and conveys the information in a non-alarming fashion. Very professional, courteous, always on time, very careful and respectful in the home he is inspecting, yet leaves no stone unturned. What a nice man to boot. We generally ask our customers to check out his credentials on his website to get a better idea of who they are hiring. We feel very blessed to have him on our short list of trusted vendors. read more

I hired Ralph to do an inspection on a fourplex and he did a wonderfully professional job with an accurate report sent to me a day after his work. I highly recommend Ralph! read more

Ralph Cabal is extremely professional and punctual. This was not our first buyers inspection, but by far the best. He was recommended by our realtor after I expressed minor dissatisfaction with our previous inspector, who suddenly decided to lower his standards. After a very productive phone conversation with Ralph, I was able to schedule our inspection within 2 business days, and got full report the morning after. He also provided a referral to a very responsible arborist, who consulted us on the tree situation within the property at no charge. Ralph was also nice enough to answer all our endless questions about potential future modifications. His thorough report got us a substantial deduction on the price of the property. Overall, very pleased with the service and the timing. Will definitely be calling Ralph again for our future inspection needs. read more

My wife and I recently bought our first home this year. As you may know there are many frustrations and worries associated with this adventure. We were referred by a friend to use Cabal home inspections. Mr Cabal came out himself, the owner. I am a contractors son and know many of the ins and outs of general construction. I gotta say he was so knowlegable and thorough. He spent much time and effort accessing every part of our home to do a very detailed inspection. We were pleased by the information he provided and how professional he was throughout his visit. His inspection report was detailed and easily landscaped. Thank You, the best parts is... 3 months later Mr Cabal himself called us to followup on our new purchase and requested some feedback on his services. Being in the customer service industry it is hard to find companies and individuals that take this much pride in their work. We will always refer and use Cabal inspections for any future purchases we may have. Thank You for giving us comfort and peace of mind with your job well done. Much Thanks Kris and Julie F. read more
