She was easy to communicate and plan with, and very understanding and patient of our needs and extra details (I was scared of lizards so adjustments and warnings during shoots, having our doggies being included). I love to recommend her to all my friends and have had a few use her and they love her too. You can always tell a great business by their return clients. While you can't see everyone's pictures, you can see they have galleries and a lot of them are return clients. She has great packages too. I've had 2 grandchildren and we've used the baby plan for both of them. We used her as our daughter's wedding photographer, and for senior photos. She's so versatile and is easy to work with. I'm so glad I found her and will continue to support her and her business! #alyssafilkinsphotography

BEWARE of Shannon @ Shannon Leigh Studios. My sons newborn shoot was February 2nd, 2022. I was…read morereally excited to get his photos done because we'd gotten our first sons pictures done by her and they turned out absolutely amazing and we had a pleasant experience at that shoot. However, this shoot was far from pleasant. It was to the point Shannon was down right RUDE & NASTY towards my 14 day old baby!!!! It was insane her attitude the entire shoot!!!! She had to be joking right???? My first son was bottle fed and took a pacifier and clearly didn't mind being put in poses, however, our newest addition was breast fed and never had a pacifier, so he easily woke and didn't necessarily like being posed. This seemed to ANNOY Shannon and oh boy did she act ANNOYED during the session!!! For $1000 for this session you'd think she would show a little more professionalism! She didn't!! She was patting his back extremely hard, getting frustrated and pulling away from him, pulling down her masks and making snide comments, and even on the last shot my son moved out of place and she slams her camera down and yells I'm done!!!! I thought to myself "you're joking right?" She was seriously upset with my 2 week old baby! It was very uncomfortable and my brother who accompanied me noticed. Like lady get some patience!!! Not all babies are the same and some may be a little more of a challenge to shoot but this is your profession, she claims to have been doing this for over a decade, and she's compensated very well for this!!!! I was highly upset & didn't say anything until now because I didn't want it to affect the turn around time of my pictures!! But I am done with Shannon Leigh Studios. I will no longer patronize this business or refer anyone here. She DOES NOT have the temperament to work with babies! Also, she'll tell you she was a daycare/kindergarten teacher for years & I feel awful for those poor children if she acted the way she did in this shoot to those babies as well! BEWARE!!!!!!!
