My back yard is on the edge of a conservancy and always mostly in shade and the ground stays soft so when a previous service had used a standing mower it left deep ruts in the yard that had to be filled. I told David this and asked not to use the standing mower but his guys used the standing mower anyway. The front of the house really cannot be done with the standing mower. David will no longer be doing anything in my yard.

Epic Fail by Action Professionals. We have done business with Action Pros for several years with…read moreall good service. Last November 2018, they sent a crew to clean our gutters. This crew damaged the gutters and facia beyond repair....holes, dents, gutters tore away from roof. Bad. Unprotected stairs caked in ice...very hazardous. We kept trying to work with them and Nothing was getting addressed so we posted a yelp complaint THEN the owner, Tom Flynn, called us in a panic saying he just got back from his winter home in Florida and a bad yelp post "will kill me". He sent his brother, Rob, who agreed that the gutters and facia were abnormally beat. His office manager. Libby, also came to see the damage and agreed it was excessive. She made a point of saying the two employees responsible for the damage have been fired. Thoroughly saying they did the damage and Action Pros will take care of me if I pull the negative Yelp post. Tom Flynn offered to replace the gutters and not the facia. We asked if he could guarantee the facia will look better than it does now. Mr. Flynn got mad and said he would no longer fix anything for us. He said we would never be happy and we were not worth the expense. Wow. This is beyond "not right". I guess we are headed for small claims court. Too bad. I have 35 years in with a reputable local company, so I do have a fair sense of what is right or wrong...Action Pros are wrong on this.

The man doing the power washing came onto my front porch (cleaning the front porch was not part of the estimate) and proceeded to power wash it, soaking a framed print that was on the wall. The print was of sentimental value as it had come from my previous home. I called the owner in tears and he told me that the worker told him that I asked him to power wash the front porch, WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. I asked that the job be finished and that the workers leave ASAP. The owner hung up on me. I am a widow, new to the city of Madison. I have however owned several other homes in different locations over the past 40 years. Never have I been spoken to or treated this way by a business owner. Please do not consider using this unbelievable unprofessional company. UPDATE: Connor, the business owner, showed up in an indigent rage, demanding that I show him exactly what was damaged. I felt threatened, frightened and shocked at his angry attitude. He then demanded to know if I intended to pay him ( I never said that I wouldn't pay him). When I again asked that he and his workers finish the job and leave, he refused to step off of my porch. I literally had to get my phone and tell him that if he did not step back and stop shouting, I would need to call the police. He ran to the back of the house, rounded up his workers and leaving the the job half done with all of the screens left out of the windows. Again, I have owned, maintained and renovated four homes and have never had a problem like this before. Another update: this morning I discovered that glass in the the overhead light fixture on the front porch was broken by the power washer. I was never told about this and the broken pieces of glass were cleaned up before I could notice.
