But it's not easy to get to Alnwick by train since the closest station is Alnmouth. Yellow Taxi to the rescue! We left it rather late but we called Yellow Taxi from the station we were traveling from and he was there waiting for us at the station. In addition to taking us to the castle we arranged a pick up from a different site later in the same day.
