Arrived on time, got the job done, and cleaned up the yard like they were never here. Workers were nice and checked in with me multiple times before cutting parts of the tree we didn't discuss. Five stars aren't nearly enough for my experience with C&M. First, someone actually answered the phone (which is often a rarity out here). The woman I spoke with was helpful and professional and got me an estimate scheduled. Second, the estimate went smoothly and quickly. The man showed up ahead of schedule and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He quoted a fair price for the work I was needing and their scheduler called me later on in the day to set up a time. Lastly, they actually showed up on time, did great work, and cleaned up afterward so my yard looks better than it did before they arrived! Honestly, I'm kind of in shock over what a seamless, professional experience this was. My desert willow looks better than I've ever seen it and they saved me from getting on a ladder with a chainsaw (and ending up in the ER). Did complete maintenance cutting of our beautiful Palo Verde tree which had already lost one limb and had another one that was diseased. The price is right for the service they offered. C & M were absolutely awesome. They completely took out all 13 oleanders that were 10 to 15 foot tall and trimmed my 15 foot palms. I had started some yard work and had piles of leaves and branches from the other trees. As a courtesy, they remove all of the piles of yard debris that I had made. The worst tree service in the world! I hired them to take out dead stumps. Instead, they cut down all the 65 year old trees, killing some of them. A year and a half later and lots of hard work, and still nothing I can do to repair the damage. A chimpanzee with a chain saw. Seriously. read more

C & M came out this morning and called us . thank God they did. in Dec of last year they gave us a quote of 900.00. It took them till now to come and trim the trees. when they got there they said it will be 400.00 more and a 50.00 charge for using paypal. No.1 I wanted to us a debit card and they told us their system was down. Said they can do paypal. so it was their choice but we have to pay for it? I would never recommend them to anyone just because of bad business. Not only that I was willing to pay 1000.00 but not 1400.00. Watch out. read more

They stink. Their pricing stinks. They used to cut our two large palms for $200. Then they quoted us a quote for the two larger and the two smaller for $500. Now they say they want $550 for the two small palms. In other words, they don't want our business, that is okay considering that they over scalp the palms anyway. read more

I wanted to update my review: I used C&M for a 3rd service today and once again Robert and his crew did an amazing job. He identified a couple of trees that had a disease starting and removed those branches. He also removed a tree and stump grind in a highly landscaped area. You can't tell any tree was ever there. A large dead tree was cut down and the stump was grind down. Very tall Palm Trees were trimmed requiring lift equipment. This team did a great job from start to finish. We have had a 35 foot tall Joshua Tree leaning over our master bedroom for a while now. First if all, communication was easy. The first time I called, we set an appraisal appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, gave us a quote, and were reminded that we must get a permit to have a Joshua Tree removed. We applied online and got our free permit from the Town of Yucca. We called again and got an appointment for the following morning at 8am. A team of 3 arrived and within an hour the tree was down.
