Absolutely awful! I brought a faulty item in for repair, it would had took about 20-30 mins to do it at most, even I could have done it, but I don't have the right equipment. The guy took it, and told me it will take about a week, because they're really busy. It took 11 weeks to get it back!!! I've been to the "shop" for several times, it was shut all the time, tried to phone them, ONONE cares to answer the phone... The icing on the cake is that even after three months they gave it back without even touching it, it's still broken, and is in the state where it was when they took it in. I took my vintage amplifier to C&G for repair and i was told it needed a single part replaced, Apparently there was only 1 of these parts left in the UK. 1 month later and no repair done i asked for my amplifier back after i enquired to a professional audio engineer who told me that all it needed was a few simple resistors and capacitors and that he could fix the amplifier in a few hours, Which he did. It only took him a few hours to find the parts and fix my amplifier so i ask why did C&G claim that it was an extremely rare part and it would take weeks to source it? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They took my poor mum's telly and told me that I'd hear from them in about a week as to whether it could be repaired or not. After nearly a month of calling them (never any answer) and leaving messages (never any response), I called in person. The staff member in the shop was unable to tell me anything nor return the set to me when I asked for it. I finally received a call later that afternoon and far from any apology, I was told that if I didn't collect the TV before 6pm that day, it would be disposed of. What would you call a company that keeps your tv set for 3 full months without contacting you, despite you sending repeated texts, emails, and visits to the shop when its opened? Answer Extremley risky, in short C&G, I admit after 3 months I threatened them, but as a disabled person, unable to carry out, but I was in the wrong, but after 4 months they still have my set lying in a heap on the floor, and want to charge me an uplift and delivery charge ! but they wont deliver the set despite me saying I would be out. Any company who will not answer any means of contact is suspicious, so beware, this company is the best I have encountered. They replied to my email saying thet were busy, but would replace the filter, but Feb now and nothing.
