My birthday dinner started as a comedy of errors and ended as one of the best restaurant…read moreexperiences of my life -- thanks to a general manager named Matthew. Here's the setup: I made a 7:15 reservation, got confirmation texts, even replied when they texted asking where we were. We walked into a packed house at 7:30 -- and the front desk had no record of us. Turns out my reservation was at their OTHER location 20 miles away, and nothing in the texts identified which one. We had tickets to a show at 8:00 the next night's... no time to drive anywhere. Birthday dinner circling the drain. Enter Matthew, the general manager. He didn't make excuses or hide behind policy. He called my name across a crowded lobby, gave it to me straight -- "the answer's not good" -- and then found the answer anyway: two seats at the end of the bar, full menu. Done. And then he didn't disappear. All night we watched this man work the room, help the kitchen, and at one point he was in the back personally mashing the potatoes. We even discovered our birthdays are one day apart. As he put it: things like that happen for a reason. Now the food, because it earned its own paragraph. Bison bone-in ribeye -- fantastic, cooked perfectly. Garlic mashed potatoes (Matthew-mashed, possibly) and roasted asparagus were excellent. My wife's bison meatloaf with wedge salad and roasted carrots was top notch. "Salt-and-pepper onion rings to start -- which Matthew sent out on the house -- get them. And the blueberry cheesecake, also on the house for the birthday, did not disappoint." Our waitress Nara was attentive and sharp, and sitting at the end of the bar face-to-face with the kitchen crew turned dinner into dinner theater -- those folks are genuinely funny. And the encore: thirty minutes into our show across town, my wife realized she'd left her earphones at the restaurant. Before she could even get back -- Matthew had already sent a young man to FIND US at the venue and return them. He spotted me by my loud and proud Mount Rushmore shirt. A reservation mix-up that wasn't even this location's fault, and they treated us like family anyway. That's not policy, that's character. Matthew, Nara, and the whole crew turned a birthday disaster into a birthday story we'll tell for years. Five stars isn't enough.

The beef is astonishingly tender, perfectly seared on the outside, and so soft that it practically melts in your mouth. Every slice is packed with savory depth, elevated by fragrant fresh rosemary and a bright squeeze of lemon that cuts through the richness in the most satisfying way. And the roasted potatoes are far more than just an afterthought on the plate. They are absolute perfection - golden and crispy on the edges, light and fluffy on the inside, and seasoned flawlessly. If you're visiting Yeppa, do not skip the Tagliata di Manzo. It is hands-down one of the best beef dishes around! The ambiance is always lively and fun. Service is a bit slow but expected for this restaurant.

YEPPA & CO. -- BUCKHEAD…read more Okayyy Yeppa... I see you! This was my kind of treat myself type of evening out -- fabulous service, good food,l & cocktails, beautiful ambiance, and a whole vibe! I started with an Espresso Martini , and baby... it did NOT disappoint! I could have had 2-3 only cause the glass size is not large enough. Smooth, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the evening though. Then came the Pasta Tower -- and talk about a presentation! Three different pastas stacked up and served family-style. Not only was it fun to look at, but everything I had was was good. My favorite was the basi pasta & esp., the bolognese! Only thing missing was some complimentary bread If you're a pasta lover, this is definitely something to put on your list. And because one cocktail apparently wasn't enough , my dessert was a Spritz -- refreshing, light, and the perfect way to end the meal. The ambiance is definitely giving Buckhead -- stylish, energetic, social, and perfect for a girls' night, date night, birthday celebration, or simply getting dressed up and enjoying Atlanta. It has that "see and be seen" energy without feeling stuffy. Esp., after 8pm as it got pacj Food: 8/10 Drinks: 8/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Vibe: 10/10 Value: 8/10 Overall: 8.5/10 Would I go back? Absolutely! Yeppa is definitely one of those places where you go for dinner... but stay for the drinks, energy, and experience. Peachie approved!
