I strongly advise against using this man's services--my experiences with him have been consistently…read moredisappointing. On multiple occasions, I entrusted him with important tasks, only to receive substandard results. During a recent job clearing a property adjacent to mine, he carelessly demolished my expensive mailbox. In its place, he hastily installed two flimsy plastic mailboxes. To add insult to injury, he mistakenly claimed that my guest house was registered under a different address than my home address. Seriously? Furthermore, these new cheap mailboxes flood with water every time it rains, turning what should be a simple task into an ongoing nightmare. I also hired him to install a toilet in my bathroom. Once completed, the seat was installed crooked, and the plastic hinge that held the seat in place was broken and disconnected from the toilet. He charged me $140.00. I hired Lee to install installation in my Home Depot storage shed. He replaced the original shelf in the shed with a piece of wood that was half the size of the original shelf without explaining why. It cost me an additional $40.00 to replace the shelf, and it took him several weeks to complete the job. Speaking of being irresponsible toward your neighbors and customers, Lee started three brushfires close to my property line, one at night and two during the day. The wind was blowing toward my house, and the smoke was so thick that my tenants had to evacuate. Lee had no backup water supply for the fire. I had to call the fire department to extinguish the fire, and the only thing he could tell the FD was that I was playing games. It was not a game I feared for my property. Do not hire this individual. My mailbox has been in its location since 1959, when the house was built. According to the survey, that is my property. The guest house does not need its own mailbox, and no one told you to place two cheap, leaking mailboxes. The address is the same for both houses, so according to the post office, only one box is needed. You are the one who knocked it down, so do not lie about it. You told me you knocked it down. Your nighttime fire was not legal, and when you start a brush fire, you are supposed to stay with it and have a water line available. The third fire was left unattended. You do not own the road. It is for everyone to use.

My child bought a new home this year and has a dog that ultimately kept getting out of the yard…read morewith the existing fence. Had Ergeon replace the fence (unfortunately thought wasn't the issue with the dog, that's a different story). Fence was finished in July. My child works 80 hours a week and hadn't been there when it was completed. I visited from out of town and noticed some quality issues. Uneven boards at the gate, poor quality hardware and a couple of boards that seemed poor quality. However, the biggest concern was that they didn't install any corner posts. Who does that? Anyone ever heard of a fence with no stable anchors in the corners? Come to find out they cut the previous corner posts off at ground level and were too lazy or inconvenienced to remove them. Built the new fence around them. I paid for the majority of the fence so I contacted their warranty company. I sent pictures. They scheduled a person to come out. There wasn't good communication about what action they would be taking. My husband and I took the day off work and planned to be there. They cancelled a 1/2 hour after they were scheduled to arrive. They rescheduled for two days later (a Sunday) and no showed and did not call. I also called that morning to confirm someone would show, got no response from my vm. I spoke with our warranty rep the following day and was told, "sorry, but I don't work on the weekends." That just irritated me. Poor customer service in my opinion. So the following week we communicated back and forth to reschedule. I was given today (9/26) as THE ONLY available date, even though I told Peta, our warranty rep, that I was unavailable and gave here 3 alternative dates. Yesterday at 5 pm she texted me and said that the installer was not available there was a death in their family. While I am sorry for their loss and empathetic, does Ergeon not have any one else? Peta asked me to give her until Monday to reschedule. I will do that but I am getting the feeling that I am getting delayed intentionally. I requested the name and number of the installer that gets scheduled so that I may confirm the day of the appointment (again I will be driving from out of town, an hour one way) and a supervisors name and number if they fail to show up. Peta told me she could not give that information. Shady? I think so. This will be a third appointment. If they cancel or no show, that will be the third strike. I hope they take care of this and make it right. I will update this post when they do. *update* Ergeon continued to delay, but did contact us to say a technician would be in the area that same day and could make the repairs. No notice and no one present to talk to the tech. I asked several time what direction the tech was given...no answer. He shows up and installs one corner post....that's it???? When I spoke with him after he called my daughter to say he was there (she didn't know anything about it). He had no idea what he was supposed to do other than install one post. I was pissed. (Remember no corner posts and there are 3 corners) Of course, I complained, I was told the next available date would be October 14th. Because they only have one person in the area that is working on the warranty issues. How is this my problem?

The second time, the company sent out a full crew and it was just a repeat of what the first installer did but at least 2 of the gates worked. Half the fence still wasn't level and the back edge still leaned away from the pool and they dumped the concrete from the first installer in the woods behind my house. The third time, I was home and after my inspection I found one of the sections of the fence had been installed backwards, one of the gates still didn't work and the concrete was still in the woods. I have since gone back and readjusted 2 gates to get them to work and still had to haul pieces of concrete to the dump.
