I think negative reviews for this place are long overdue. I have used them twice, yes I gave them a second chance. The first time, the customer service severely lacked, but the work looked really good. I was given an estimated date of completion with the promise that he would call me by then if anything changed. Well, something changed, but I never got a call. so I called him, Daniel I believe his name is and he is the owner's son. Of course it was a Friday and Daniel decided to leave early for the weekend...a 3 day weekend because Monday was a holiday. So I call Tuesday and get the runaround. I finally tell Daniel that I need to pick up the parts that were being painted by Wednesday. They were ready and I must admit the paint work looked very good. Based on the work quality, I decided to use them a few months later when my wife wrecked her Tahoe. When I called them, I asked if they were behind schedule and of course Dan said no, that they were caught up and could start on my vehicle the next day. I also asked if they could do mechanical work because the left front suspension had broken parts. Dan assured me that they did "everything" there. I had the Tahoe towed there on Monday, just after noon. On Thursday, I stopped by to take a look at the damage that I could not see before tear down. When I walked in, the place was like a morgue. Dan and another man were in the office area and looked like they saw a ghost. I asked if I could see my Tahoe, the "man" walked out of the office scratching his head and mumbled that he was waiting for a suspension part that was on order. I reminded him that this was a common 2011 Tahoe and not a Bugatti sports car & that he could probably get the part he needed at the local 7-11. I called my insurance company and told them to call. Miraculously, the Tahoe was in the body shop. Dan promised to keep me apprised of the repairs by calling me once the tear down was done. 3 weeks later he calls at 3pm and leaves a voicemail telling me that my Tahoe is ready and I need to pick it up by 4:30pm the same day...again, it's a Friday. My wife is at work and I have no one to take or go with me. Monday, my wife and I go to get it, and low and behold...there's a problem. Dan tells me that they drove it into town and back to get the pin stripes painted on and had no problems. This was the first time I knew of my vehicle being driven around, and wait a minute...I brought it to this big nice body shop that boast's about being able to do everything, and they had to drive it to town to have the pin stripe repainted??? Then they tell me that they have to look into this light that just appeared on the dash so we can't pick it up, but not to worry, Dan said he would call me to update me. Several hours pass and no call from Dan. I call him, and coincidentally, they had just hung up with the dealership...wait, what? Dealership? Why? Well as it turns out, this "do everything" shop suddenly can't figure this light out and they took it to a dealership, again, I knew nothing of my Tahoe going anywhere. And to top it off, it probably won't be ready until the next day. No worries though, good ole Dan will call me to keep me updated. NOPE! I called back the next day and what do ya know, they just got off the phone with the dealership and my Tahoe is ready for them to pick up. Ok, so when can I come get it from you? "my driver comes in around 9am and I will send him right over, so you can come get it around 10 or 11 or sometime after that". After all this, we get there and the paint job looks like I did it in my barn. There are air pocket pits all over it. When I pointed them out, Dan says they were "pre-existing" and that they only blended the hood, but didn't touch it. WOW, what the hell does that mean? In order to "blend", we must add paint and feather it out to match the two panels together. Their "blend" netted me air pockets that left specks of bare metal. The Hood that they didn't touch was not properly aligned, and the new fender that had been installed and painted, had two tiny scratches that I chose to live with instead of leaving the vehicle for them to screw up any more. They rinsed off the compound after buffing the new paint, problem is that it ran down other surfaces which are not painted. So now, the new black valance across the bottom of the bumper has 4 really bad looking white lines on it. The real kicker here is that Dan is not some dis-interested hired hand...he's the freaking owner!
Needless to say, I will NEVER USE C & C COLLISSION AGAIN! read more
