I absolutely love C&C Cafe! They hands down have the best burgers in Belen and personally I feel like in New Mexico. They also offer daily specials which are amazing deals! Slider Monday- taco Tuesday - Chile dog Wednesday- carne asada Thursday- prime rib Friday - sirloin steak Saturday... plus... there's breakfast all day on Sunday! Service is a hit! I love extra ice for my tea and they usually remember automatically and bring me an extra cup of ice - there's always tables to sit right away and if not, it's not too long of a wait, as their service is quick and efficient! read more

Bottom line, good food at a reasonable price. C&C Cafe offers a nice selection of breakfast and lunch items and a few steak options. Service was great. They were very attentive to our drinks and checking in. I came with my daughter and a friend. All our food was hot and fresh. I had the Philly sandwich and fries. It was very tasty. My daughter had the chili rellanos plate. It was great and the red chile was just right. My friend had the huevos ranchero. She loved it. Great little cafe. read more

My wife and I tried here for the first time today. It was fantastic! I ordered a smothered burrito with green and my wife got a pancake. The service was prompt and attentive and price is very reasonable. I'll definitely go back when in the area. read more

I was looking forward to eating here so much that I had planned to have lunch here one day and breakfast the next morning but I'll never come back after the way we were treated. First we walk in and are told to sit wherever we like. Then our young waitress comes to take our orders. I can't seem to find on the menu what I had wanted to eat from their facebook pictures so I ask about it and the girl seemed bugged because I was taking too long, btw they have a breakfast menu and a lunch menu which are served at different times but nowhere anywhere does it say that the dinner plates are served after 4pm???, so I just went ahead and ordered their most expensive burger on the menu the polar bear plate. Two 1/2lb smothered beef Pattie's served with potato chips. Not even full chips just a bunch of crumbs. Our waitress seemed in a hurry when she took our order and walked away so fast I didn't really have a chance to order what I wanted. So I walked up to the counter and asked if my plate came with chips which I knew it did but the owners wife snapped at me and said they come with chips, I knew that and told her I wanted to upgrade to chile cheese fries. I sat down and our original waitress never came back, she was cleaning the tables around us huffing and puffing with anger. I asked the owners wife about our complimentary chips and salsa which the original waitress forgot or didn't care to bring. Another waitress brought our appetizers, food and our chips and salsa all at the same time and then asked us if everything was correct? I said my plate was supposed to come with chile cheese fries and she went ahead and placed the order for them after our food had arrived. First time I've ever felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant and just for asking questions, I never got upset, I understand they've barely been open for 3 weeks. But I couldn't wait to leave. No one would come to see if we needed anything. I started to wrap up our leftovers in a paper napkin when a third waitress came and asked if we needed a box to go and we said yes, she was nice. I headed to the counter to pay my bill and when our original waitress seen me coming she left the register and another waitress took my payment. This is the first time ever good or bad service that I didn't leave a single penny for a tip. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable while eating my food. They'll never get another dollar out of me and I understand they don't need my business but there are far better restaurants in Belen with much lower prices than the C&C cafe. About the food. Like I said my $18 hamburger was served with a bunch of chip crumbs and their red and green has no flavor. The chips were excellent but the salsa was bland and flavorless. $62 for an appetizer and two entrees, we had one glass of water each. Two thumbs down from me. The one star is for the third waitress who gave us a to go box so we could get out of that place. So much for planning to have breakfast here the next morning... read more

Wonderful service and great food! Ambiance is friendly. Food is well prepared, lots of flavor, hot or cold, and fresh. Waitstaff pay attention to our needs and address them without intruding. We enjoy eating there and look forward to it. read more

We were here on a Sunday afternoon, they were not closing for another hour and Lorraine ( I guess one of the waitresses) made rude comments about there being so many of us, she said she wasn't going to move tables for us and complained that we kept the door open while we're letting people out and our party if 12 was trying to come in. We usually feel very welcome here that is why we chose this place. It was very embarrassing and disappointed how we were treated. I try to support small businesses as much as possible but I refuse to be treated like an inconvenience because we came in an hour to close. Needless to say we left and gave our business elsewhere. read more

We waited 30 minutes for food that had not been started yet. We were told a couple of times our food would be out any second. There were 8 other people in the restaurant. The wait staff was standing at the window eating. When we asked for the bill for our drinks, the person working the register turned their back on us. We were angry at that action occurred and we walked out and did let them know we live locally and WILL NOT be back. Very disappointed that customer service will keep us away. We were very excited about the restaurant since Chris was so successful in other ventures. read more
