Upon his doctor's recommendation we visited a local medical supply store. The chair has to be over sized as my Dad is 6'4. We were told the chairs start at $1700 and go up from there. My Mom was upset as she knew it was out of our price range. We visited a couple of other stores and found pricing was still an issue or they could not provide a modified version of the chair to accommodate a taller person. We decided to call other furniture stores listed in Cookeville to see if anyone had options at a reasonable price. We called Bradley's and were told they had several options for us to look at. We went over and met Bobby and his sweet Mom. They were so helpful, knowledgeable and informative. They answered all of our questions, explained the difference in the options and went above and beyond to assist us. And on top of all that they were over $1000 cheaper then the other place. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Feels good to shop "local" and to deal with such honest, kind and sincere people. See Bobby at Bradley's - he will take good care of you.

We thought that having a recliner that had lifted and had heat would be ideal. Babcock Furniture was the only furniture store that had a recliner that we could get the same day. We purchased the chair on 02/17/22. I had back surgery and returned home on 03/10/22. I came home only to find the chair would not work. My husband used it the night before and worked fine. I called the store and explained my situation. I was told they would be sending someone to fix it however it would be the next Wednesday (almost a week later). I mentioned returning the chair but we would be charged roughly 200.00 for returning it. We decided to just have it fixed since we would have to only a week. They sent someone out but only to access the chair. We were told it needed a new motor and it would be about two weeks. They would have to go return to the store and speak with the manager to let him decide to repair the chair or give us a new one. I got a call the next day saying they would order the part. We have heard nothing so I called the Cookeville, TN store today where the chair was purchased but they couldn't give me any updates on the progress of the chair. I mentioned returning the chair since has not fixed and was told that was not possible. The store manager is off today and would have to call back tomorrow. I feel Badcock Furniture has done nothing to resolve this issue. It has been extremely frustrating considering I purchased the chair to help with both my husband and my recovery and have not been able to use it during our recovery. I will never make another purchase from Badcock Furniture and I would encourage others not to purchase from this furniture store as well.
