I have only lived in Cookeville for a month and I have a 1 year old son. I was out and about one afternoon and not really paying close attention to the time and was not familiar with the stores hours. As I walked into the store there were three employees standing behind the counter and I was initially greeted only to be told that they were closed yet the front door was not locked. Once I realized it was 2 minutes until 5 pm and they wouldn't even allow me to walk through the store to see if I saw anything I was interested in. I made up my mind that they were really not interested in my future business. If you are going to close the store 2 minutes before your actual time, lock your doors!!

When the elderly lady employee came back, she shouted at me through the door and was extremely rude, treated me like some kid and said the rudest things. then she proceeded to stalk me as I left, "cleaning up" after I touch everything. She accused me of stealing and wouldn't leave me alone. I couldn't even shop without her following me and making me feel uncomfortable. It was almost traumatic for me. listen, I know sometimes we all have hard nights on a work night. I certainly do. But this was uncalled for, and should never happen to anyone. All I wanted was to come in and have a nice time finding a coat. But instead I had to put my things down and leave before I said anything I would regret to her. VERY creepy and rude experience.
