Oakmere services was by far the cheapest and most transparent so I decided to go with them. They were super flexible when I called them up saying I could come in anytime before 12 the next day (Saturday). As soon as everything was ready they called and text me to let me know I'd passed my MOT and to let me know I had minor problems with my tires. Never once did they try to push me into sorting it out with them though. A MOT, full service and brake fluid change came to £224 including VAT! Bargain! I think? The place is a bit hard to find (right NEXT to the bus station) so try to watch the video on their website before coming in. They are open 7 days a week which is again super handy.

If you have a BMW or Mercedes, Mini or Smart car, or any other car for that matter, you can do a lot worse than bringing it here for your servicing. I know this sounds like I've pulled it straight off an advert, but they are very good and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else (except of course an authorised dealer but that comes with authorised dealer prices)!

He found that the nuts holding the rear axle were loose. Ian got the correct tools and fixed the problem within minutes. I found Goodmans online through a car fix quote site…read more I phoned Ian and he was incredibly helpful and straightforward with what could be wrong with my car. I brought it in this morning, and within 60 SECONDS had identified the problem (caused by a dodgy fix of my clutch during a previous service from a DIFFERENT garage.) He had the issue fixed in under 5 minutes and then told me I could just 'buy him a drink sometime!!!!!!!' as it was an easy fix. Personally I will be ONLY using Goodmans from now on and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone, they are brilliant.
