This company gave me the best quote to remove two trees and remove the stumps. The tree in the back was small and they did the removal satisfactory. The tree in the front was quite large and after cutting it down, a 5 foot diameter stump remained. They proceeded to cut the stump down, and when "finished" a covering of chips remained which is normal. I had had foot surgery a few weeks prior and it was dificult for me to get out and check the front stump. A few weeks later when I could get out I was going to rake up the chips and lay sod over the stump area. I began raking and found that the chips actually covered up the fact that the stump was still protruding several inches above the grassline. I called the company and left a message an a few days later my call was returned and a told the person what the issue was and she said someone would contact me. No one did and I called several times and left messages that were never returned. I finally called and said if no one returned my message I would leave an unfavorable review. That prompted them to finally call me back. I said what my issue was and the woman said since I paid them for the service it approved their work and they wouldn't do anything about it. So now I have a 5 foot wide block of wood in my lawn I can't even plant grass on. Very unprofessional trying to coverup an unfinished job, poor customer service not responding to my calls, and then refusing to do anything about it. If you hire them, thoroughly inspect everthing and don't assume that they did a good job. Since I have to hire someone else to finish their job, the value for the money is poor. read more
