Sashimi plate and a few of the little Nigiris
    Natalia S.

I eat a lot of sushi back home in the States, and I decided I needed a break from heavy German food while I was traveling and came here. It was a really great sushi place (but just missed the 5-star mark in comparison to all the other sushi places around the world). I was a little confused why 80% of the rolls had cream cheese (it's pretty strange outside of the Philadelphia roll in the USA), but maybe that's a regional thing. Other than that, I don't think the rolls were particularly exciting/creative -- but they were certainly delicious. The sashimi platter also didn't taste like the freshest fish right off a coast -- nor were there many delicate sashimi options like toro, snapper, etc. But the atmosphere was very trendy, the service was great, and the sake/beer was pretty cheap. My favorite little bite: Pearl on Shell (N5).

I came here with my boyfriend on a Friday night for a 6 p.m. dinner. It was pretty busy and there were many reservations already made so I was happy that we were able to get a table. We were sat up stairs and the whole restaurant was very pretty. They have a very large menu, mainly with sashimi and different types of sushi rolls. They do have a smaller menu with things such as soups if you aren't in the mood for just Sushi. They also have a pretty big cocktail list which has some really interesting options. Overall the pricing was pretty reasonable, we were able to get a large Sushi plate and share dumplings as well as two drinks each for about $70 which was fantastic to us! The service was very fast and they were all very friendly. I'd recommend coming here.

Food was great however they lost a star due to not having ac or enough fans. It was so hot that we were all sweating. No one enjoys eating in a sauna. There were only two fans for about 20 tables and they were only facing one direction. As for the food, it took awhile to come out but was very delicious. The sushi variety is great and they have an extensive menu. Pictures are attached.

Even though we were only offered a seating time of one hour, the staff made it work. We ordered 8 rolls and it came out in just 15 mins. The sushi was spot on! I highly suggest the Côdung roll. Everything was fresh and very delicious. Will definitely return!

I had spicy salmon, sashimi and spring roll. Salmon didn't taste fresh but mix with a little bit spicy and sour is nice idea, sashimi mix were not fresh as they should be. Spring roll were quite fat and sauce was salty. Scallop and grilled eel with sweet sauce were good Price is fine

Best sushi we've had in Germany the past year. Excellent & fast service. Menus in English & German with pictures of each dish. Prices were fair but accept cash only. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous sushi stop! Reservations were hard to get but now I know why. Great sushi, great value for the food, and has lots of fresh options.

Not the best sushi in town for sure I 've been in all but here I will say is low quality of food. Just passable. Not very comfortable also.

It was a short (2 stops on the U bahn from where we stayed) Though it is on a side street, it was NOT hard to find. Just google map it! We wanted Vietnamese food (I am from Saigon, Vietnam originally)....OMG food was so fantastic here!!! So pleasantly surprised, it was better & more authentic than the Vietnamese food in NYC. Who would've guessed, in a small city near Nurnberg, there is such great food. It's a "mom & pop" family owned restaurant. So the own gave us free shots of his homemade herbal/ medicinal wine, it was so smooth & strong, lol I was super surprised & happy. If you are near by....this is a must go pit-stop for food, if you like authentic Vietnamese food. Must order the duck!!!!! And we also had the pho, as well as the summer rolls We will come back tomorrow to try the handmade dim sum!

So we went there on a evening on a weekday. The place was totally empty. But again relying on the reviews that are already written here, we decided to give it a try. A lot of different Thai and Vietnamese options in menu. I had a Saigon Beer, which was OK, as it contains Malt and Rice. I am not a fan of Malt. Normally Thai Beers like Singha is made of Rice.. But still was not a bad choice. Overall the drinks menu was not much to offer. We ordered chicken soup, Chicken kum pao and Duck chop suey. All the dishes were delicious. The chicken was tender and duck properly fried.Overall with all these dishes and beer it cost us around 20 Euros for 2 persons, which was just perfect. The prices are less, but the quality and taste of food was surely not compromised. The service was quick and the lady (probably the owner) was friendly. Overall surely worth going for good food with normal price range.

But today it was a disaster, we had a table for four at 18:30 on a Saturday night. Sat down and found it was very cold in the restaurant. Oh well nothing that a quick drink won't solve, I ordered a gin tonic and my wife a cocktail. After a while the waitress returned to inform us it's very busy they are not serving mixed drinks????? The place only sits 22 people when it's full and there are only four other adults there, who knows. All four of us order starters and main courses. Three starters arrive and we are told the fourth is out?? Not to worry the food is great. Hardly get half way through my tasty starter and the main courses arrives. We put a brave face on it and enjoy our food on a very full little table. The table is cleared and it's proudly announced that we can now order a gin tonic, yippee we'll have three, thanks. After some time a man comes to the table and asked about how to make a gin tonic, it can happen, my friend goes with him to give a hand. Unfortunately he returns with only one, the gin has run out. As an alternative we order a beer and a glass of wine. One sip of wine later at 20:00 a waitress turns up not to ask about desserts but to tell us we should leave because people are waiting for our table???? So if you like good food but don't care about the cold, very limited choice of drinks and like to eat out on Saturday nights for no longer than 90 minutes this is the place to go. Insider tip take your own bottle of gin.

While the soup was tasteful (yes you can mess up this dish too..) the batter of the tempura was doughy and tasted greasy. The edamame was a pretty small portion, were served on a plate thus they got cold instantly. The Hoso tuna pikant was not "spicy tuna", but somewhat boring. The Ura eel roll had lots of rice and little fish to it. At least the the nigiri of tuna, yellow tail and salmon were fresh but tiny for the price. The waitress was attentive at the beginning and offered an English menu but forgot to bring me my second beer later. Their ordering system is a check-off sheet that the guest fills in, at least this avoids the potential misunderstandings. We paid 75 € for a basic sushi dinner with mixed quality, so I award 2 stars. The search for really good sushi in Nuremberg will have to continue for us...
