Stopped in for lunch while we were waiting for the car to be fixed. The street signed caught our eye. From the exterior, it's a petite diner. When you walk in, you realize that it's a popular lunch spot with regulars. Not a big place, but the interior is clean and decently decorated. The service is hit-or-miss depending on which waitress you get.
The menu is somewhat sparse, poorly written and leaves out a lot of detail. The result is that you end up pleasantly surprised by the portions and the accompanying sides. I ordered a crepe omelette, which was quite impressively made, considering central Quebec is not known for its cuisine. The crepe was thick but well-made, smothered in tasty Hollandaise sauce. The salad and spiced potatoes were good too.
My boyfriend got Chinese stirfry, which, we didn't realize, was made 'au gratin' and ruined a perfectly fine plate of vegetables. Stick with the breakfast foods.
