I have been patronizing Dell's since they opened up. Fantastic subs…read more I ordered a large sub tray on Monday 4/6 for Wednesday 4/8. When I ordered the sub tray Monday over the phone, I told the clerk that I didn't want turkey in the selection because they never get eaten. He recommended I use roasted chicken so I did. I also wanted an large roast beef as well. I went to the store Wednesday to pick up my order and it turned into a fiasco. Evidently, the clerk asked for clarification on the order. At that point all hell broke loose and the delu manager started yelling at me for how my order went down. The tray wasn't ready and I asked the manager why she didn't just call me and ask me for clarification. She said they were too busy. I tried several times to explain my order again but she wouldn't listen to me. She came out from behind the counter and started yelling at me again until I told her to take it down a notch and lower he voice. I had a Board member with me too and she was mortified as well. I spent over $100.00 and I've ordered your sub trays before. I have never been treated this way before at ANY deli in the past. My lunch was late and I felt bad for the group of workers that were waiting. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Dell's in the future because of her. Becky B.

It's definitely a little pricey for what you actually get. The service was quick and the ambiance was old school deli style.

I used to stop in on Fridays for the oyster deal, specialty butters, and hard-to-find items like Dufour Puff Pastry, but prices have definitely gone up. I was genuinely excited when this place first opened, but now nothing really stands out enough to make it a regular stop. The store is on the smaller side, and there are things I wish they carried. Parking is fine, but the entrance layout can be a little awkward.

I ordered a medium of one of their seasonal lattes. I received a large of a different seasonal latte. But, it also sounded good so I didn't point out the error. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The latte was great. It wasn't the flavor or size I ordered, but it was ample, had caffeine, and was tasty. The breakfast sandwich was burnt (the bagel was black on top). I was catching a flight so didn't bother complaining, but it wasn't the best (very dry and, as I said, burnt). The service was friendly and the prices are reasonable. And, hey...if you're ever in the Rochester airport--these folks have coffee and they'll get it to you, if not accurately, expediently.
