Mr. Terrance Harris along with his son Traevon (together make up the 2 in the proclamatory name of their company) have taken care of my lawn for approximately two years now and I can say that they have never failed to please me with their final product. For decades I managed to take care of my yard alone. In that time I nurtured it carefully so that today it has become, at least for me, a calming and peaceful retreat. In recent years, however, I have had to give up my bi-weekly attention to it upkeep. Thus I was very cautious in choosing a lawn services company. I wanted one that would commit to a regular schedule, rain or shine, and that would maintain a dedication to its maintenance similar to the level that I had been committed to over the years. I can say that I found that company in Willing 2 Work. From day one Mr. Harris showed great interest in my needs and listened patiently to my peculiar litany of needs when mowing, trimming and generally maintaining my yard. He respected my requests and, over the course of these two years that he has never failed to deliver his services exactly to the level of my demanding instructions. He hasn't cut corners, or changed his methods in the delivery of his services, at least not without first consulting with me, explaining politely, succinctly and convincingly why his way was better. I am old and set in my ways, but not so set as to demand a businessman provide a service in a manner that is contrary to his own efficient means of doing business. I have learned much from this kind, hard-working gentleman, and am happy that I found him just at the time when someone of his professional attitude was needed. So I decided to return to give them another chance after my old housekeeper moved away and I tried other cleaning services but never got the cleaning I was use to. It ended up just to have them keep changing cleaner again but I was giving them a chance even after all the horrible stories I heard from the cleaners about the company. One young lady came to my house in tears because how she was being treated so I sat and listened but still gave company a chance. Then I get an email yesterday asking if I can change from my normal day and I responded saying I would try to accommodate and I went and moved things around after I got home ready to let them know I could make it work to find I received an email saying they are discontinuing service to me because they can not give what I needed. I have been trying to accommodate this company for months and I even got 4 neighbors wanting to hire them then I received a very unprofessional email no explanation or anything. I had already planned on leaving in a month my old housekeeper is moving back to Pascagoula so I was atleast going to stay with them and give them a two weeks notice I was leaving but I don't get that in return. Horrible and needless to say I have shared my email communication with my neighbors and they have decided to just hire my old housekeeper. So disappointed that I gave this company another chance. The young ladies cleaned well had a few issues but always gave them a good tip it's not the young ladies fault about the office issues. Also I found out the office tax their tips so I tipped them directly because I was never told I couldn't. Update after I requested an explanation I was given an explanation why they just stopped my service. It was much better than the first email that I received. All of the cleaners who have cleaned my house know I'm preparing for a very large party in a few weeks and to be told that the cleaning service cannot handle my cleaning at the last minute after I've already been scheduled for a cleaning is just very unfortunate but I do revise my statement. I WAS LATER given an explanation by the owner. The first person that contacted me was very blunt and did not give me a reason at all, so I requested an explanation and was given one. I would've respected them more if the person that contacted me after I requested an explanation was the first one to contact me because at least she explained why even though I still find it last minute because my cleaning was to be less than a week from now, I can understand if you don't have the staff to accommodate my cleaning schedule anymore. I would have rather that email being completely open about the sudden change than the one I received at first. I hope the company can get things together because I was all for supporting woman, and as a woman I just think after everything I should have just been given a little more notice. We worked with them through the Strengthen Alabama Homes Grant Program and have no doubt we chose the right contractor to complete our new roof. Chase came out and walked us through the current issues we were facing and then described step by step what would be next if we chose to move forward with them. He was respectful and detail oriented with us and made sure we understood the full picture of what needed to be mitigated. Once we decided to move forward with them, we were on the schedule within a week and a half and the work itself was completed in a little over one day. The team that did the installation was courteous and respectful of our home, taking care of our property as if it was theirs.
