I was referred here by Nordstroms because a pair of Tom Heels I paid $1450 straps were too wide for my feet. This is a problem I typically deal with because my feet are very narrow. I was very pleased with the service. I was a bit nervous as I just bought these shoes, never wore them and already were having them taken apart and repaired. Also I brought a long a pair of Christian Loubs that I ruined in as well to be repair. Byron not only thinks he is the diva of shoes, he is in fact the "Diva" of shoes. Both shows returned back to me looking like they came straight from the store. The repairs aren't even noticeable. Don't listen to the negative Nancy's that gave bad reviews. You get back the energy you give. Byron treated me with respect and the bottom line is I didn't come to make friends, I came to get my shoes repair and this dude is the GOAT of shoe repairs. Was referred here by another shop to try and help with finding sneakers in my eternal hunt for sneakers that fit my much wider than average short and wide foot. The owner was pretty helpful, and referred us to another store(who couldn't help us either). We did our own homework, and found a company in the northeastern US that makes sneakers. My dad comes in to report that we found a company that makes sneakers for people of all foot measurements custom. He said to my dad in a mean attitude, "That is not a custom shoe". He must've forgot us from about 6 weeks ago. I guess they don't want the knowledge to pass onto other customers. read more

I always proactively take my designer shoes to a good shoe repair store to get protective bottoms and make sure they're treated and cleaned. I try to take them back at least once a year for any touch ups, as well. Being new to the area, I used Yelp to find Bymar. They did a good job and put a protective layer on the bottom of my Chanel flats to protect the original leather. They also colored in a small scratch on the toe, although gold is a hard color to fill in, they did a good job. I will definitely be bringing other shoes here. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that they never called to tell me the shoes were done (or didn't leave a message) so luckily I remembered to check in. read more

We were given Bymar referral by Christian Louboutin. Had Wendy's shoes "protected" for excessive wear and tear. It was so easy, just sent them up. The staff did a thorough diagnostic and gave us an estimate. Then they fixed them up and put on the protective soles. Absolutely beautiful job. The shoes look awesome. I absolutely love the work Bymar did for my Christian Louboutin heels. I needed the heel taps replaced because they have been heavily worn and the patent leather right heel stem was damaged from normal wear. I thought they were done for because patent leather is almost impossible to repair especially when the patent leather is knocked. He was able to replace the heel taps and put some paint on the area where the patent leather was damaged. The picture with the shoe on the left is the damage that had no work done to it and the right picture is the impeccable work Bymar did. He was able to somewhat conceal the damaged patent leather. It's not 100% perfect but when I wear them they look 100% better than before. I highly recommend Bymar, he is honest when he tells his customers what he can do and what he can't. I will continue to bring my shoes to him for repairs and for preserving of high end shoes. He's worked on so many high end designers. When I stopped by his shop to pick up my shoes he was working on a few pairs of Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Valentino. Thank you so much Bymar! read more

If you love your shoes, DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN. He not only insults you to your face, he makes you pay him 100% up front and then refuses to call you when shoes are ready and the. Throws them away or resells them. I drove an hour to find someone to repair my Rag and Bone boots. He couldn't even take the time to tell me if he had them in the store after I drove in only to find the store closed due to a back surgery. No calls when your shoes are ready, no website letting customers know he is open during the pandemic, no outgoing message. $1000 lost. read more

I've had a go to pair of leather flats for about 3 years and I've worn them countless times so much so I had worn out the soles. They've discontinued the shoes and I can't find them anywhere online so I decided to see if I could get them repaired. A bit pricey at $70 to be resoled but worth it for shoes I'm not ready to move on from. They also repaired a pair of vintage shoes I purchased that had the soles pop off half way through the first night I wore them another $70 fix. So if you're picky about shoes and won't give up on the ones you love this is the place but be prepared to pay. Good customer service and quick turn around time. He didn't size it correctly, when i asked him kindly if he could fix it for me he got defensive and started telling me how it was my fault that it wasn't sized correctly lol and then wanted me to pay again. read more

The owner was extremely knowledgeable and had other high end shoes and purses he was repairing when I dropped my shoes off. Took a pair of Christian Louboutins here to have the protective red sole placed on the bottom. They were worn ONCE. I pointed out the scratch on the right heel, acknowledging the pre-existing damage to the shoe. He acknowledged same and indicated he would do what he could with it but that patent leather doesn't stretch well (for repair purposes), but he could improve the look of it. When I went to pick up my shoes, he did improve the look of the scratch. However, when I took the other shoe out of the bag to look at it and check the work - there were 3 blue ink dots near the tip of the shoe. The shoe was spotless when I left. In fact, both shoes had been removed from their bags prior to my leaving and placed back in for "safe keeping." He asked if something was wrong and I indicated the ink dots. He said he'd "try" to get them off which of course he couldn't because it is INK. He proceeded to attempt to "explain" the blatant ink dots as being in the "film" of the shoe and that it was "his word against mine." If that's someone's immediate response to the damage they've done to your item(s), they've probably been through this already - he asked what I wanted him to do and I said I wanted the spots removed or the shoes replaced as they are now stained and being returned in a condition not of which I brought them to him in (and practically new, as they were again - worn once). I asked for my other 2 pairs of shoes back and a refund and he said he will not refund any money because he was "almost done" even thought it looked like all he had done was put the new sole on the bottom of one pair and he isn't "working for free for anyone." Long story short - DON'T. If you aren't concerned about blue ink and a poor response/explanation - take your best shot. I won't be taking anything there or referring anyone. read more
