There aren't enough words to describe how HAPPY I am with my brows! I have to admit, when I walked in, I felt nervous because my brows are like my babies. I loved the fact that Nikki really sat me down and took her time and asked me what my brow goals are and how I want them shaped, etc. I am very picky when it comes to my brows, that's why it usually takes me 10min to draw, fill, and shape them daily (yes it's a pain and I go through brow products like it's nobody's business!) Long story short, I felt that I was in good hands and that Nikki knew exactly what she was doing as soon as she showed me how she outlined and shaped my brows with a black crayon to get an idea on how my brows would turn out, WITHOUT using a stencil! (Yes, I was super amazed!) She explained step-by-step what she was doing as she was doing it so I felt very comfortable and at ease. She used numbing drops to help with the pain so it wasn't that bad, although the sound of the blade cutting my skin did make me cringe at some point but it honestly wasn't bad at all. All in all, my brows looked amaaaazing and I was so excited to see my brows actually filled in because usually I have gaps and sparse areas that really bothered me and also one brow was originally higher than the other so she fixed that as well. Nikki was very professional and explained in detail the after-care instructions. You can't wet your brows for 10 days in order for the ink to settle in the skin and you MUST use Aquaphor twice daily especially when showering to prevent them from being itchy or flaky. I had no problems at all and my brows healed very well. I am due for my first touch-up and I can't wait to never ever having to use a brow pencil again and getting my extra 10min of sleep! As for the price, it is kind of pricey but at the end of the day, I would rather pay more for a service that you know is trustworthy than paying cheap and not being satisfied with the results especially if it's something permanent. Definitely would recommend Nikki to anyone wanting to get microblading done in NY, my sister got hers done as well a few weeks after me and we're both obsessed! So living life with minimum eyebrows, you get accustom to believing "this is just life." You aren't aware as to how different your whole face and whole appearance can look with thicker brows. Yes, make-up is always an option; but, if you are a natural one like myself, make-up is never an option..you just want to get up and go! NIKKI made this possible for me! No down time required, or looking crazy and swollen when you leave; as I actually went STRAIGHT to work following my appointment. I've come to Nikki twice in the past few months. First for the initial powder brow then for the follow up touch up. I just want to start off by saying she's fabulous !! She's so easy to speak to she's understanding. Nicole is amazingly talented!!!! She first microbladed my brows a few years ago and changed my life! She was a makeup artist so she knows what shape and color would look good on your face, thank God cus I wouldn't have known any better. Over a year later, when it was time for me to get a touch-up, she recommended for me to do the powder brows because it would last longer. This is the best place for your eyebrow needs! I did microbladng and a powder brow combination and it was the best decision. My eyebrows had many bald spots and filling them in every morning took up time I didn't have. I now never have to worry about my brows, they always look perfect (but still so natural)!
