The Main Character Package I loved MaKall! I was so overwhelmed with all of the options for hair and makeup because I've never had my makeup done and don't normally wear a lot of it, but I really wanted to go all out for my wedding. As soon as I found MaKall's website, I knew she was the one! Her pricing was more than I originally budgeted for, but after exchanging emails, photos of myself and my wife, and a Pinterest board, I felt confident that she understood my vision. And she absolutely delivered. MaKall made everything so stress-free. She basically already knew what I wanted before she arrived, and I never felt rushed or stressed. I hate wearing eyelashes, and I probably forgot I even had them on before I left the hotel suite. I was so happy with how I looked and felt the entire day! My photographer had also worked with several brides who had their makeup done by MaKall and had heard great things, so she was excited to meet her too. I pretty much ran off as soon as MaKall was finished because my photographer had just arrived and I was ready to get dressed and get everything on the road. I feel bad that I barely even said goodbye, but I hope she knows it was because I felt so good and was ready to go!!! Unfortunately, my wife's experience with the assistant was very different. My wife is a masculine-presenting lesbian and doesn't normally curl or style her hair in a particularly feminine way. She essentially wanted a simple blowout with mousse, sea salt spray, and a round brush--something polished and styled while still feeling like her. We had been very clear about this beforehand because I really wanted her to feel comfortable and pampered on our wedding day. Unfortunately, the assistant didn't seem familiar with the style she was asking for. A curling iron was brought out even though we had specifically said she didn't want her hair curled, and when I asked about using a round brush, there was joking about not being able to use one. There was also a lot of hairspray and product used, to the point where my wife couldn't run her fingers through her bangs the way she normally likes to. After a couple of attempts to adjust it, my wife eventually asked her to stop. She was pretty much in tears, rinsed her hair out in the sink, and redid it herself. Thankfully, she was happy enough with how it turned out afterward. This was especially disappointing because there really isn't enough LGBTQ+ representation in the wedding industry, and it can be difficult to find vendors who are familiar with masculine styles. We were taking a bit of a chance, and unfortunately, the experience ended up being what we had been worried about. Overall, I absolutely loved my experience with MaKall, and she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. My wife's experience with the assistant just wasn't a good fit for what she was looking for. I hope this feedback helps them better accommodate couples with different styles in the future. It's 2026, people! read more

MaKall did my hair and makeup for our 10-year vow renewal in Las Vegas and she was genuinely one of the best decisions I made for the entire day. From the moment she arrived she was so warm, friendly and easy to be around. I immediately felt completely comfortable with her, and getting ready felt relaxed and fun rather than stressful. And then there was the actual hair and makeup... WOW. I wanted to feel glamorous and bridal, but still completely like myself, and she absolutely nailed it. My makeup was flawless - smoky and glam without feeling too heavy - and it photographed beautifully. My hair was beyond anything I could have imagined. I have shorter hair and somehow she created the most incredible textured updo that looked amazing from every single angle. The biggest compliment I can give her is that I felt so confident when I looked in the mirror. I still looked like me, just the absolute best version of myself. And despite hours in the Las Vegas heat, travelling around, champagne spraying and generally causing chaos downtown, everything still looked incredible. I've had a preview of our professional photo shoot and I genuinely cannot stop looking at them. The hair and makeup photographed BEAUTIFULLY. MaKall is incredibly talented, professional, kind and an absolute joy to have around on such a special day. If you're getting married or having an event in Vegas, book her. Cannot recommend MaKall and her team enough for wedding makeup and hair. I'm from out of state, and her communication leading up to the wedding was amazing -- helped answer any questions I had, made sure we were aligned on timing, was very transparent about costs and super flexible / open to anything I wanted to do (like two trial hair-dos in one session, a second look the day of, etc). She did my makeup and Michelle did my hair, and they both had the most fun, calming energy. You could tell how much they cared about me and my girls feeling confident and getting exactly what we wanted. My mom likes a very natural look and when her first go at makeup was a bit too much, MaKall came to the rescue and literally restarted from scratch to make sure my mom was happy with the end result. In fact, she INSISTED that they should make any and all changes until my mom felt confident. I can't even describe how appreciative I am of that, and it's just one example of how dedicated MaKall is to making everyone feel like their best selves. Not to mention, both my glam and hair held up SO nicely. Was ready by noon, didn't have my ceremony until 6:30, and pictures looked great all night long. I worked with Makall back in September for my wedding and had the best experience. Here are some takeaways: (1) Makall is literally so chill, relaxed, and efficient. I am the first to admit that I can be a little uptight and, like many others, was a little worried about the timeline of events. As soon as I saw Makall not only pushing out phenomenal work but also in an efficient manner, all of my worries went away. Girl can keep to a schedule. (2) Makall is super accommodating and flexible. My MIL and I could only fly in for a short day trip to Vegas to get our trial done, so we did not need a hotel. Makall literally welcomed us into her home to allow us to get our trial done. I am legit still so touched. Like seriously, she did not have to be that nice, but that is just who she is. (3) Last but certainly not least, she listens. I know; hear me out; I have sat in many chairs before where I showed or told someone my idea, and they did not get it. Considering it is your wedding or event, that is the last thing you want. Makall explained different coverage options and staying power, and I literally felt so comfortable working with her for my wedding. Not to mention I looked flawless. I'm so happy that I chose Makall to do my wedding hair and makeup :-) She was kind, warm, fun to work with, had great communication, and truly listened to my preferences. Best experience! The two women, I wish I knew their names were polite, excited for us, patient, kind, and just a joy to have on my special day.
