This place is hidden in a shopping plaza behind Pizza Hut, I had no idea it was there. I followed yelp reviews to inspire me to look for it and I'm glad I did. Very casual place with super friendly owners taking care of you. The burgers were delicious. I have no idea how they can serve such huge and high quality burgers at such a low price, but I'm not about to complain. Sorry Midtown Caboose, you are no longer my favorite burger place! A Great find (so dont let the location deter you), it may get missed for a person from the main drag as it sets back in behind a number of other establishments but is well worth exploring too. Not only is the food wonderful, but the staff are very pleasant. I have been here at least three times and one time I was in a long discussion with the person who came with me. The staff kept refilling our drinks and when I apologized for being so long they understood. They may be known for their burgers, but even the sides are on point. I work in Crawfordville one day per week and this is my new go to spot! I tried a couple of other restaurants in the area before finding this place and was disappointed. I have been here 2 weeks in a row now and the food has been fabulous. I have tried the black bean burger and tilapia sandwich which are both fantastic!!! The black bean burger is homemade and the fish was cooked perfectly. I have gotten the sweet potato fries as a side both times because these are the best fries I have ever had!!!!! Really cute little restaurant in c-ville! A lot of the places here lack variety but they have lots of options on there menu between appetizers and the sandwiches and steak. I got a to-go and the staff were super kind and helpful. I ordered the beef burger with a side of French fries and a drink for 12 dollars. (Super cheap IMO) and the fries were perfect, they even seasoned them with flaky sea salt instead of the regular stuff! Will definitely be back to try more. read more

Probably one of the best places to eat in this mud hole they call Crawfordville. I always order the meatloaf. Seems like they skimp you on the sides though. I like to eat my meat with potatoes but I always run out of potatoes before I finish the meat. Sweet tea is always sweet. read more

We were here a few mins before closing time on a Friday night, on our way to the beach. They weee gracious enough to let us sit down and eat, didn't rush us and we stayed 15 mins past closing time! The chicken fried steak is amazing. It's nicely breaded, crunchy, piping hot, with creamy white gravy. Mac n cheese is old school, very good and has bacon (I think) bits. Chicken wings are awesome.
