I believe it's fair to give your opinion especially in these types of situation since people book photographers for special occasion and I felt I let others know about what kind of job Amari Productions did for us. With that being said our experience will this company was not good at all. We were extremely disappointed with the photography service provided for our son's wedding. This was the first wedding in our family, and we trusted the team to capture one of the most important and emotional moments of our lives. Unfortunately, the final results fell far below our expectations. Around 35-40% of the photos in the gallery that they provided were duplicates or nearly identical shots with the same angles and poses repeated over and over again. Many important ceremonies were covered very poorly, in several key moments, the photos only showed the backs of people instead of capturing the actual ceremony, emotions, and expressions that mattered most. What makes this even more frustrating is that we had a detailed video call with both the coordinator and the photographer before the wedding. We clearly explained the important ceremonies, family moments, and expectations in advance, so we genuinely believed everything would be handled professionally. Sadly, we now feel that many once-in-a-lifetime memories were not properly captured, and that is something we can never recreate. Wedding photographs are meant to preserve moments for future generations, and it is heartbreaking to feel disappointed when looking back at such an important event. The most disappointing thing was that I communicated my disappointment with two people and neither one of them offered any kind of solution that could have made me feel better. Sometime in situation like this the senior people of the company such as the owners or founders contact the customers and try to see how they can help satisfy the customers but in this case no one bothered. This shows how much they care for their customers. My wife and I regret using this company... we wish we would have done a better job in searching for the right photography company.

Only the *tiniest* bit bummed, we decided to still get married and scheduled our civil ceremony. But now, I want a photographer to document this event... I think I found Emily on Instagram, after looking around at different photographers' work. I remember really liking Emily's style, how natural everyone looked, and how well Emily captured the moments. I think those were/are the most important things for me for choosing a photog, and it helped that Emily has (solid) reviews for me to go through as well. Emily was prompt in responding via email, and offered to chat on the phone to discuss the details and what I wanted. After talking for a bit, I sent over a deposit and we were set! Or not... because a week or two before our shoot, I looked at my civil ceremony appointment time and it was actually for 8am, NOT 8:30am. Yikes! I text Emily, nervous that she wouldn't be able to make the earlier time, and I would need to scramble for another photographer, but thankfully, Emily is flexible and okay with the earlier time. Phew! I also wasn't quite sure *what* I wanted from the photos (POSES? props!? specific backgrounds?!) but found some pictures I liked and sent them to Emily a day or two before our appointment, so she had an idea what I was going for. I appreciate Emily's responsiveness! The actual civil ceremony felt a little hectic; we did not know what it would entail -- paperwork, of course, and then waiting because there were other couples that were getting married that day. Thankfully, Emily was very patient. Emily is personable, friendly, and professional. She is very easy to work with, and helped the husband (!!) and I feel comfortable. Nothing felt forced, and I think she did a great job of eliciting and capturing our authentic moments. We are super pleased with the pictures and I can't stop looking at them! Lol. I would *definitely* solicit Emily's services again. Maybe for one of her fun mini shoots down the line. What a cute, low pressure and creative way to get some quality photos!
