I wanted to get those cute newborn photos done when my baby was born. He came early so I did not have time to research beforehand. It's been quite hectic since his birth and I'm thankful for being able to search for photographers on Yelp! Usually it's my go to for just food. There were many great photographers but this one stood out to me the most. The quality of the pictures were just so artistic and adorable. I called her and left a VM, of which she returned my call with prompt text messages. I asked for her pricing and booked ASAP. She had a cancellation on Labor Day which worked out great for us since no work for us! Prior to driving to her studio-she emailed some suggestions to make the shoot go smoothly. When we arrived to her studio, I was in awe. It's so cute and full of so many different outfits and setups. It's very clean & had AC. I had sent her some images I wanted done and she did that & beyond! My little angel looked even more angelic than I could've imagined! She is truly talented! She handled him with care at every outfit change, backdrop change etc. He slept through most of it-she's very good at what she does! The 3 hrs we were there, she was very efficient with all the photoshoots prepared prior. It was so smooth & her assistant was also very kind. I only saw a few images on her camera but OMG they were AMAZING. I didn't read the costs for her pics correctly as I got it in the evening & was very tired, so it was a bit of a shock for the pricing packages. I wish I was more awake to be more aware of that. But that's my own lack of review. I'm wondering if she might accept monthly payments because they are quite pricey-but I'll inquire at the photo review session in a few weeks. I think that would be nice for her customers. Nevertheless, her work here is 5 stars! I cannot wait to see them in person! read more

Booked a newborn photo shoot. Svetlana and her son were absolutely amazing. From the beginning we felt welcome. My mother gifted our baby a plush unicorn and I was able to incorporate it as a prop. We were open to Svetlana's suggestions for the photo shoot and I really liked that she gave me an opportunity to pick colors and other props that I liked. She has a lot of really neat props that make youryour session creative and super adorable. The studio space is awesome. Right when you walk in there is a lobby-type space with couches, a coffee table, and a changing station for your baby. There is also an area with clothing and props. The third space is her studio. It's a large space with more props and lighting. I really loved the space. It's perfect. I wasn't prepared to be in any of the photos, especially because I didn't dress for the occasion, but Svetlana offered me dresses I could wear, and I ended up being part of the shoot in a really beautiful way. Just had my maternity shoot with the photographer, Svetlana, and it was amazing! She has so many props and backgrounds to tailor your photo shoot to you and your family. Svetlana has a huge collection of beautiful maternity dresses and outfits; she picked out the perfect ones for our family photos and my individual photos. She gave me great direction on what to do, how to pose, if I needed to move or fix my hair or hands, which was so helpful because I am not the best with posing. I felt so beautiful and comfortable throughout the entire shoot. My 17-month old son was unfortunately fussy but she did a great job of getting him to smile with various toys, lights, noisemakers, & other fun items. On the day of the shoot, we were informed the studio address was different from what we were expecting and what was posted online. This added 30 minutes to our drive, and when I messaged her that we'd be about 20 minutes late, she never responded. When we arrived, we felt unwelcome and rushed. She wasn't warm, didn't share any photos during the session, and never checked if we wanted anything adjusted. When we received the photos, the issues continued. The editing was inconsistent, and several images had noticeable flaws. We gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she might just be socially distant, but even through text it was clear she was cold and unwilling to work with us on any concerns. As a new mom and my child was in the NICU I felt pressured to get my child in sooner than I was comfortable with because I was told that my child needed to be sleepy/ full with milk etc for better photos and young as possible. After spending close to 2 grand to book and for session fees we couldn't afford much more. We were only able to purchase 5 photos at $150 PER PHOTO! because of how much a new baby already is and not being able to afford the other expensive packages. Don't get me wrong, the photos were beautiful but we did not understand the pricing and now feel ripped from getting newborn pictures because of the pricing. Other companies will give all photos and even come into your home for same If not less pricing. Our friends who had a baby 4 days after us walked away spending less money, the company came to their house and set up whole studio, weren't pressured on time (allowed for feeding time etc) and walked away with 40 plus newborn photos. I am also upset that I was given a month to decide if I wanted more photos or that all would be deleted. We would've had to again pay more money for a booking fee to view the photos again and then pay again $150 per photo that we wanted to keep. I am very unhappy and upset about the entire situation and wish we would've gone elsewhere. My baby is now 4 months old and this whole situation still upsets me to this day! read more

I fell in love with ABL when I saw their work in my OBGYN's office. 4 years later we're having a baby and so excited to finally book her. So far we've done our maternity shoot and have just looked through those and we've taken our newborn photos today. Can not wait to get back and pick through those. If you find one of their photos you love be sure to chat with them about that photo BEFORE showing up to the shoot. It sucks to have your heart set on a particular style only to realize day of you can't achieve that with in the time frame or budget etc. Also go over pricing and packages in great detail with them to ensure you understand what's included and what's not included etc. I misunderstood the packages even though she sent me the pricing it didn't click. They do have dresses for the shoots however if you are a curvier person you will want to bring your own, she does have some suggestions for dresses to get. She has tons of props and clothes for the babies so you're good to go there. You can tell she's a pro with how she handles the babies. read more

Our pictures turned out AMAZING! The backdrop for Christmas was so dreamy, so many different pockets of backgrounds, thoughtful posing, and a great vision for our overall photoshoot.
