Most companies require you to mail in your precious memories, and I could never bring myself to risk losing these tapes, especially since they contain moments from my children's childhood--now 21 and 28 years old. That's when I found CA&C Video. My husband surprised me with a gift card to have my tapes converted, and the experience was awesome from start to finish. It all began with a simple text inquiry, followed by an appointment confirmation. Clifton, came by on 12/31 to pick up the tapes and let me know it would take a few weeks to complete the conversion. On 1/11/25, I was already able to view some of the converted videos online through a link he provided. And by 1/16/25, he personally delivered the tapes back to me along with the USB containing all of the digital files--right to my front door! Clifton also informed me that 2 tapes have been damaged but he would try to repair/restore them. I had faith he would be able to and he did!! The level of communication, service, and professionalism throughout the entire process was nothing short of outstanding. I was able to easily pay online which pricing was very fair.... I couldn't be happier with the final result. Having immediate access to these precious memories has been the highlight of 2025 for me. My latest experience was asking Clifton to help me convert my dad's old microcassettes and VHS tapes, which have been sitting in my garage for 10 years! Clifton picked up my tapes on a Thursday, and the following Tuesday, I had everything on one USB stick! I cannot begin to tell you how special it is to see my father again, who passed away in 2013, and for the last 3 years of his life, was in a wheelchair. It was so incredible to see him walking around, joking both behind and in front of his camcorder. Most touching of all, was showing these videos to my kids, so they could remember him, and see what grandpa, and mom and dad, were like before they were even born. Clifton is a 3rd generation videographer, and it shows. He takes great pride in his work, and, like me, comes from a long line of family members that have a passion for preserving memories we will revisit again and again. Graham is very responsive and easy to work with. The day of our June 2021 wedding, Graham showed up on time and got right to work. My favorite thing about his style is the interviews he does with the bride and groom separately and the interviews he does with guests. Plus the facility operator was excellent with helping on setups and ideas. The lighting was perfect. My only hiccup was how damn hot it gets in there!!! lol gotta keep those fans blow full swing to counter that heat.. other than that it's pretty perfect. You can fit about two cars in there comfortably nothin more. There seating, water and a mini fridge on hand in case they're needed. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for good rates and help on filming location with complete studio setups available. Definitely a must rent.
