I was fortunate enough to visit CO with Mountains Move. BV Jeeps was the driving cog in our outdoor adventure. The Jeep was in great condition, clean, and off-road ready. The staff was attentive and quick to fulfill our reservation. They were even astonished at one of our treks along the edge of a lake where everyone else was too scared to pass. Great experience renting a side by side RZR. The trails were amazing - great views, we got good and dirty and the machine handled it all beautifully. Everybody at the shop was great. It was our first time driving ATVs and they were great about explaining everything. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Hope to be back someday! read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I called this company about a week before my reservation to make sure of the final details, asked about any reservation numbers or information that I would need to have ready when I arrived to rent my ATV, just trying to be prepared as we were only in town for a few days. I spoke with a nice man and I was told that everything was ready and that I just needed to show up. So on the day of my reservation, I did show up at 11am. I was immediately lectured on the fact that I was supposed to be there at 8 am. I said oh sorry...nobody told me. Jessica who was apparently in charge responded with "Yes we did! You spoke to Peggy yesterday on the phone and she told you 8 am. I heard her." I didn't call anyone the day before my reservation...and I told her that. She continued to argue about it with me, telling me "Yep. I heard you. You were 'Jessica with the four wheeler reservation' who was just 'Sooooo excited to come ride a four wheeler'" Then she just looked at me. I really didn't know what else to say because I hadn't made any phone calls, it was 11 am now and there is nothing I could do about any of this. I was being lectured like a child instead of helped to find a solution. I was so shocked that she speaking to me like this. I work as a nurse and have held several customer service jobs...I would never dream of speaking to a customer like this. So I said "I don't know what you want me to say. I can't change the fact that I was supposed to be here at 8am so can we just proceed with the purchase?" She 'allowed' me to rent a four wheeler and informed me that I would still have to pay for the full day rental because I was late. As she sat down at her computer to get the reservation going, I asked if they had any jeep rentals available the next day because I noticed a sign about jeep rentals and I was starting to think about it. Jessica stood back up and said "I am sensing some attitude from you! Do you want to rent this four wheeler or not?" And just stood there looking at me with her hand on her hip as if it was my job to find a solution. So i repeated myself, explaining that I didn't know what she wanted me to do, there's nothing I can do about needing to be here at 8am, its 11am now and can we just get on with it? At this point, another girl took over my transaction thankfully. Jessica was sure to remind this other girl that I needed to be charged for the entire day's reservation at the time of payment. The ATV worked, so I guess there's that. Needless to say, I absolutely did not rent a jeep from this company the next day. They lost any future business that I would have considered doing with them. Luckily I was with a group of friends and one of them went inside for me to return the ATV because the staff made me nervous. I just would never speak to a customer like this. I was just out four wheeling with my friends in the mountains and this definitely added a lot of unnecessary stress to an otherwise fun day. I do not recommend this company, and it is atrocious that these are managers treating customers this way. read more

I really wish I had checked out Yelp before our group of friends decided to rent from this place. If I could give them 0 or -1 stars, I would. We showed up and the ATVs we rented were already loaded up since we had made an advanced reservation. That might seem nice, except we didn't get to really closely inspect the ATVs until they dropped us off. Bad move! The ATVs were all totally banged up and many of them had cracked pieces. One of them had wheels/rims that were bent in many different directions and looked like they were going to fall off. The plastic shell was cracked on several of them. Problem is, the inside of the BV Jeeps shop has massive lists of the extra costs you will incur if you break ANY portion of the vehicle. We didn't want to get blamed for anything, so we took pictures of each ATV to make sure they couldn't accuse us of anything. When we got on the ATVs, the brakes on most of them were terrible and needed to be replaced. On my ATV, the brakes barely worked. I had to press down hard on the brakes and hold it for 2-3 seconds before the brakes put enough pressure on the tires to make them stop. Clearly this place just doesn't take care of their vehicles. And they're willing to put their customers at risk so that they can be lazy. Rent at your own risk! Also, they offer insurance, $30 for tires/rims and $60 for everything. But the $60 insurance has a $600 deductible! $60 fee and $600 deductible on top of a $140 rental? The owner convinced us to get the $30 tire/rim insurance. We knew he was scamming us when we saw that many of the tires on the ATVs they gave us were already in terrible shape (see above). What a rip off. To make matters worse, when we each went to pay before we left, each of us were charged $202. How did they get $202 from $140 rental charge and $30 insurance? We were pretty sure we weren't supposed to pay 18% taxes! Well, I overheard the woman behind the desk listing the charges to the owner to make sure it was correct, and she said "$5 for gas". Wait, so you are charging us $140 to rent an ATV for a half day and that doesn't include gas!? Are you kidding me!?!? Did you expect us to head to the gas station before heading out? Or did you just hope we wouldn't notice so you could rip us off? What a joke. The owner said he would give us $5.50 back in cash after we returned the vehicles because of the overcharge. He did, luckily. But then we did the calculation again and $5.50 back would make the total charge $196.50 per person. That's still 12% tax! These guys are scam artists. After doing a quick yelp search, there appears to be some other reputable companies with great reviews doing ATV rentals - go there instead! read more

Very positive experience overall ... we rented a couple of ATVs for the day. The owner was polite and got us going quickly. I was a little surprised at how little education he gave us on the operation of the ATVs (we have never used an ATV), but then I realized that operating one was far more simple than I ever expected. (No wonder the tutorial was brief.) More time was spent showing me how to load them on the trailer, and for that I was grateful. No sweat ... no hassle ... and we had a GREAT time. We will definitely be coming back to rent ATVs again. Skip the jeep ... rent ATVs !!! read more

We had a great experience with BV Jeeps. They got us on the trails promptly so we could enjoy the ride for the full 4 hours of rental time. We rented a 4 person Polaris, which ran like a brand new vehicle. No problems with the vehicle at all. The trails offered great scenery and variety, some areas required navigating rocks, while others offered an opportunity to open the throttle. The views from the top of the trail were incredible. We look forward to using BV Jeeps again. read more

Buyer beware. Off roading with razors is something you should do in central Colorado. However, if you choose to rent from this company, be prepared to be charged for repairs caused by "hitting" rocks while driving. I had to pay double the fee because the owner said the driver hit a rock while on the designated trail and "broke the razor". My advice is simple; rent somewhere else. read more

This was the second time I had rented Jeeps from BV Jeeps. Gary, the owner, is awesome. He really knows the area, asks what you would like to see, and provides detailed maps and directions. The Jeeps were clean, in great condition, and excellent working order. Gary recommended we go over Mosquito Pass, the highest open mountain pass in the US (13,000+ feet). Other passes are higher, but this is the highest where you can actually go over and down the other side. It is usually open for only a few months out of the year, starting when the snow melts in late July and ending when snow starts falling again. What an incredible ride! The views were wonderful. The road was very narrow and rugged. Many sections (2 miles or so) required 4WD Low to climb and descend. It is amazing what a Jeep Wrangler is capable of. Words can't describe the terrain, the road, and the narrow margin for error. But it was well worth it-the highlight of our trip. read more

Not very happy with this place. First of all you show up to the place and there are HUGE signs noting all the charges you might be encountered with. $100 for a bent rim $250-$2500 for who knows what.. Second, we rented a side my side RZR 800(nothing bigger available!)for $440 for a "full day." A "full day" meaning from 9-4 including over a full hour of loading and unloading it from our camp site. Thats also including about another hour of us dealing with the RZR overheating and not going up hills. I was able to get ONE LOOP around our flippen camp site!!!! And for $440 we were still asked to go pay for a dang car wash! $50 extra an hour if we were late. We show up to the shop and let the guy know what's going on, he takes a loop around the block comes back and says "seems everything is running great now" sure! Ok! Yeah! Good one boss. He refunded $50 to my card but seriously... $400 for a crappy time?? Wow. Definitely will NOT EVER BE RETURNING to that place again read more

This is not a good place to rent from. Not good customer service at all. Only one guy was friendly and willing to give advice. The others hated the fact people were there. The older gentleman who dropped off our machines treated a bunch of 30 year old like we were children. And upon picking the machines back up. He acted as if rode with us the entire time and tried to say we rode like idiots and treated the machines like trash. And got to the point to where he was trying to fight us over his anger issues. Simply because a customer weeks effort wrecked a side x side.....Can't forget to mention the machines had no power steering, locked in 4x4 so risk of flipping are severally higher, places are all cracked and rims bent. First thing you see when you enter their shop is a HUGE list of what they charge for and what it'll cost. Making you only wanna go 1 mph on those things....needless to say I took videos and pictures of everything to make sure we didn't get screwed...never going backand suggest other not to do so. If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. To start off if you are looking for an exhilarating ride, look no further! At BV jeeps you are more than likely to get a wonderfully used ATV that's seconds away from the next part falling off. And if that isn't enough excitement just wait until you find out whether or not both of your breaks work! But wait there's more! Leave your ATV parked on a slight down hill for a thrilling game of catch the run away vehicle. (Gotta love those breaks) Don't worry I was able to complain to a worker as soon as the customer in front of me was done yelling and complain his poor service. Once able to confront an employee, I received very poor service from one who said they can't just check all the vehicles and relies on the complaints of others to know what to fix after it is broken. Scam artists. I rent a jeep and they screw up the return time. They charge me for an extra day and refused to talk to me about it - just charged my credit card. Gary seems like a nice guy, but when it comes down to it, actions are louder than words and I would never deal with unethical people like him. Beware.
