Amazing studio I found on Mindbody!…read more Huge space with check in and a cafe with snacks downstairs then classes and changing rooms upstairs. I took a Yogalates class here that was gently heated. The instructor did the moves with us which made it easy to follow along. All props were provided including weights and blocks. Mats were laid out for us already. The class was taught in English. I really enjoyed this space that was dark, moody and industrial/modern yet still relaxing and zen. Would absolutely come here again!

I used to go swimming during the Bain libre (free swim) hours, up until early august 2022. They…read morehave 2 ladies changing rooms, and the one closest to the swimming pool *stinks of urine*. I mean, really bad. There is *always* a good amount of liquid on the floor, so it's anybody's guess what that really is .. I used to go in the evening, and I understand there is often kids' classes maybe 1 hour before the bain libre. Anyway I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, that maybe they didn't have enough employees to clean up after each class. But then I've also been in the morning and the smell, the floor, .. it's just as bad. Makes me wonder whether they've got anyone cleaning up the room, at all?? Considering how the "free swim" isn't that free (It costs 6$ per session, or about 30$ per month if you go with a subscription) -- I'd expect the place to be in pristine condition. I've started going to Complexe Claude Robillard instead, and not only is it free of charge, but also very clean

To be fair, there are some good things about this gym. Good location, the facilities are decent,…read morethe gym area is pretty decent, with good layout, decently equipped for its smaller size, and it has good lighting. Whats bad about it? Pretty much everything else. The service is terrible, the locker rooms are a bit cramped, the clientele is generally ok but the place has a few regular bad apples that are rude and have no concept of gym etiquette. The management also has no concept of maintenance, as broken equipment can remain on the gym floor for months before it is either fixed or replaced. The gym also misses a few basic little things that are standard for all gyms, such as dipping belts, amongst other things. Management also has a set of stupid pointless rules in place that are highly inconvenient. The price for an annual membership is very high considering the fact that the gym itself is in slow decay with poor service. The worst is that the gym as a whole could become great despite its small size, all it really needs is a modest investment, and proper management. Everyone that works there should get fired, and they should hire fresh new staff with a new perspective. The annual membership at the PEPS de l'Université Laval is less expensive than this place, and the PEPS is probably the best, most complete sports complex I have ever seen. The infrastructure at the PEPS is MASSIVE. The PSP Valcartier Sports Complex also has a MASSIVE infrastructure, and it too is also less expensive than this place for an annual membership, about half the price actually. I have payed much less for a membership at gyms that are far superior to this one.

I am totally disappointed of Power Flex. Most of the equipment is good. However, the machines that…read moreare defective and needs to be fixed properly can take up to 2 to 4 months. One machine hasn't been fixed for 4 years. Unbelievable! They can't even get extra pins for various machines that don't have them. The management and many trainors are doing great with the members they train. However, they are not sociable with the regular members. Sure the regular members at the gym is like one great happy family. Members, like myself, gave my resignation to leave the gym regarding the crunches sit-up machine that is improperly working well. They claim that the machine is working great. This is not true! I happened to damaged last Monday my already fractured disc that already happened in the past regarding bone density. Since the machine damaged one of my fractured disc, I won't be able to train for at least 2 to 3 months......and the person behind the counter gave me a penalty charge of and approximate $67. They are at fault for not fixing the machine properly, and still charge me a penalty charge. Plus they refuse to professionally send me an e-mail confirming that my membership has been officially closed. Overall, I find the sub owner and some staff members a none educated gym and totally well unorganised. So sad and very angry!

The mood is enjoyable and festive, there are people from all ages and i actually recognized a lot of songs being played. They played music from all over the Levant and it's very enjoyable. The sound does get loud and there's not a lot of room to move. BTW, if you're lucky enough to get a seat, it will be taken the moment you leave. We had so much food, and it was all amazing. The chicken or beef pita, the fries were fresh and labneh and zaatar on Saj Bread were awesome. There's also activities for kids, far from the deafening noise thankfully. It's really best to know parking will be a disaster here, so take the 179 bus , it's also about a 5 minute walk from the 121 bus stop.

So far I am…read morevery happy with the class -- small size, plenty of attention from the instructor, well-planned, the right level of challenge without being impossible. The instructor is familiar with each of our physical limitations and offers personalized adaptations when giving instructions. The studio is large and clean, full of all sorts of Pilates toys, including an ancient Reformer from the 70s (!!) There is a washroom, a change room, and a bowl of chocolate in the reception area. Je crois que les cours sont offerts uniquement en français. I will definitely be back for another session after this one finishes. It's such a treat to have an excellent Pilates studio right in my neighbourhood in Ahuntsic. The only drawback is that the studio is right across the street from an excellent bakery, tempting me to undo all my good work each week.
