Not a safe place for kids or adults. I highly suggest finding a place with more concern for their clientele.

Beautiful gym where everything is top notch. This place reminds me very much of Equinox in LA. The…read moretraining area is very spacious with lots of equipment. They offer a variety of classes which I have not tried but I am pretty sure they are extremely legit! They have a fabulous steam room and sauna and beautiful showers. If you're looking for a high end gym in St-Henri look no further this is it!

Competition in the gym space is fierce.....there are new ones opening up all the time. Every now…read moreand then however, one opens that is truly exceptional. B52 is that gym. As soon as you enter you can see that alot of time and effort went into planning not just the layout and decor but also the quality and functionality of the equipment. It's all brand new.....a completely renovated space with roughly 20,000 sq/ft of facilities including a big and well equipped weight and cardio room as well as boxing, yoga, pilates, spin, crossfit, etc.....everything you need to get fit. Then go relax in the well decorated locker rooms for men and women with showers, steam, sauna, sitting room w/tv, or get a massage. On the way out, grab a smoothie or one of the prepared meals on offer to take home so you don't order Domino's or stop by McDonald's on the way home and then completely negate the intense workout you just had. There are trainers on staff at all times to ensure everyone is getting the proper workout and you always have the option of taking individual or group classes. All the gym equipment was carefully researched and chosen from an Italian company called Technogym. I've been working out there for 3 weeks now and my workouts are better then they've ever been. The machines are very well made and have better range of motion and support for areas like your back then other machines I've used. Also, in our high tech world, the cardio machines (elliptical, bikes, treadmills, etc.) allow you to access the Technogym app to track your workout and accomplishments but also integrate with your Netflix account so you can binge watch all your favorite shows while sweating like an animal. The location is great as well and there is alot of parking all around. It's right behind the Home Depot on St-Jacques, which is great because you can go get your lumber and soil right after your workout.......as one does :) Over he course of many years, I've worked out at the Sanctuaire, Victoria Park, Mansfield Club, and others. B52 got it right, a nice place to workout that has everything you need and most of what you want.......I say most because there is no pool, tennis or squash. If you're looking for a new gym, this is the place.

To be fair, there are some good things about this gym. Good location, the facilities are decent,…read morethe gym area is pretty decent, with good layout, decently equipped for its smaller size, and it has good lighting. Whats bad about it? Pretty much everything else. The service is terrible, the locker rooms are a bit cramped, the clientele is generally ok but the place has a few regular bad apples that are rude and have no concept of gym etiquette. The management also has no concept of maintenance, as broken equipment can remain on the gym floor for months before it is either fixed or replaced. The gym also misses a few basic little things that are standard for all gyms, such as dipping belts, amongst other things. Management also has a set of stupid pointless rules in place that are highly inconvenient. The price for an annual membership is very high considering the fact that the gym itself is in slow decay with poor service. The worst is that the gym as a whole could become great despite its small size, all it really needs is a modest investment, and proper management. Everyone that works there should get fired, and they should hire fresh new staff with a new perspective. The annual membership at the PEPS de l'Université Laval is less expensive than this place, and the PEPS is probably the best, most complete sports complex I have ever seen. The infrastructure at the PEPS is MASSIVE. The PSP Valcartier Sports Complex also has a MASSIVE infrastructure, and it too is also less expensive than this place for an annual membership, about half the price actually. I have payed much less for a membership at gyms that are far superior to this one.

I used to go swimming during the Bain libre (free swim) hours, up until early august 2022. They…read morehave 2 ladies changing rooms, and the one closest to the swimming pool *stinks of urine*. I mean, really bad. There is *always* a good amount of liquid on the floor, so it's anybody's guess what that really is .. I used to go in the evening, and I understand there is often kids' classes maybe 1 hour before the bain libre. Anyway I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, that maybe they didn't have enough employees to clean up after each class. But then I've also been in the morning and the smell, the floor, .. it's just as bad. Makes me wonder whether they've got anyone cleaning up the room, at all?? Considering how the "free swim" isn't that free (It costs 6$ per session, or about 30$ per month if you go with a subscription) -- I'd expect the place to be in pristine condition. I've started going to Complexe Claude Robillard instead, and not only is it free of charge, but also very clean
