In August 2019, I got a color boost (completely normal for the duration of the microblading pigment) with Sarah - she tweaked the shapes of my brows to make them even more fabulous! So happy with their services. Microblading is not a cheap service, and you DON'T want to sacrifice quality by getting a groupon to get this done to your face! I would recommend following the makeup school and/or microblading studio on social media to take advantage of specials they run on occasion! I have also received makeup services for special occasions, and their artistry is top notch. My artist Kellie listened to what I wanted (i described it as subtle drama!), and she was able to deliver! I highly recommend any of their artists!

By the time I arrived I had clearly understood what I needed to do before and after my appointment, what to expect, next steps, policies and procedures, etc. The young lady at the front desk was so bubbly and welcoming. Michelle performed my microbladed brows. She was very sweet and answered every question I had. She ensured I was comfortable and well informed before we started. TMSSR performs with top notch cleanliness and seems to take every precaution to keep both them and their customers safe. Prior to the procedure, Michelle mapped out my brows. We were able to discuss and make changes to the outline before we started. She wanted to make sure I liked my outline. It did not hurt! Michelle numbed my brow area so I barely felt anything. The chair I laid in was uncomfortable but she let me take breaks and move around. After she was done, and I got to look in the mirror, I was not used to seeing my brows so dark. However, they do heal and turn out much more natural in color. Michelle provided me with all the tools and instructions needed for my brows to heal properly. It took about 2 weeks to heal. I have received so many compliments since. My brows have been my biggest insecurity but now they are a confident booster. TMSSR really do take pride in offering high quality service. I highly recommend them for your permanent makeup services. Do not go cheap! They know what they are doing! I have known so many people who have received their services here and they have all spoken highly of this place.

I contacted the owner to see if I was nearby all week for camp and the specifics would my son be able to join the other children that love music. The owner and her team were so warm and receptive to my son's needs. Every single day he came home from camp with a smile on his face and was pooped. Nothing ever poops my son out! Every single morning he woke on his own got showered and dressed and was ready before me so that he could go to camp. He loved the employees there as they made him feel so comfortable. He went on and on every single day about DJing classes and what mixes be was working on and his counting. He even loved the DIY class which took me by surprise. As a parent I love how organized the business was with pickup and drop off. I also love the safety precautions of ensuring all kids and employees are safe as possible from COVID. I don't know that I've had an instructor who HASN'T worked as an executive chef or owned their own restaurant at some point. That insight into your future is very valuable. Every instructor I've had has infectious enthusiasm for teaching us their trade, and even though I work full time and it's exhausting me to go - I look forward to every class. My only complaints are tied to ECPI. CIV is actually the School of Culinary Arts for ECPI. ECPI's policies/support of the school are sometimes shady at best. First - during a blizzard in Virginia Beach, ECPI responded that "if 7-Eleven is open, we're open." Way to think about the safety of your students/instructors. I trekked in - and then STILL had to make up the class because of the instructors that said "screw this." Second, a lot is web-based. Not a problem - if ECPI could keep the internet up in the school. Internet goes down for HOURS at a time probably twice a week on campus. Third, for $36,000 per student - you think ECPI would let us keep our culinary books. NOPE. We've only got to keep 2 so far - and I'm in my 7th semester. Oh, and I have a Bachelor's Degree from the US Naval Academy, and I'm halfway through a Master's program at Embry Riddle, and ECPI only transferred 3 classes. It's all about the money! Very happy with Culinary Institute of Virginia, but wish they weren't associated with ECPI.

The Instructor Keith Flippen is one of the best human beings I have met. He's honest about the profession, your ability to act and isn't one of those teachers who will just take your money and run. There are a lot of scam artists in this business but Keith is not one of them. He has a group of people who come in and advise you on different sides of the business (Agents, Directors, ect...).
